Vel is the social media morgul all Twitter users and RU-vid commenters are her fodder, she runs fashion shows and forges the brand and shapes the background flow of people, she is RU-vid. Vox is the advertisement, he's the talkshow host, the telepreacher, the Rachel Maddow and Tucker Carlson, he tells you what you want to buy and what to think upfront, he is the 24 hour news cycle. Valentino is the Pimp, he's got the bodies, you want to be a star or a model, you've got to whore yourself out to him first, he makes the people who work for them controllable and while doing that he produces the porn and the background, background media, he is PornHub.

In her own words, she is the backbone. The bold one willing and able to challenge others. Vox is the brains, using his network to gather intelligence and manipulate viewers. Val is brawn, using his poison to recruit and control a small army of Sinners to do their bidding.

@@KingsBard i love to think of them more as an embodiment of media, vox is the hardware, velvette is the software, while val is the content. No one is above each other they both needed each other equally.

​@@warbacca1017 Val and Vox, maybe. Vel seems like the type who's plenty crafty enough to survive against anyone that isn't specifically planning around her. She seems like the weakest of the 3, but she also seem like hands down the most likely to survive in a situation where some of them need to die.

I wouldn't call them really threats (Velvette aside) but antagonists, especially when compared to other Overlords. Vox got owned by Alastor and while Valentino was smart enough to use Charlie's and Angel's kindness to his advantage his obsession with the later plays against him. Velvette is the only one who got her sh*t together and she was able to play Carmina without problem. She undeniably is the backbone of the vees.

What can we say if Velvette doesn’t care about the old-timers of Hell (especially Lucifer, which is why she calls his daughter pathetic). Also, everyone from Vee's is younger than any other Overlord (probably even Alastor). They don't even realize that if they suddenly try to harm Charlie, Lucifer will destroy them with a snap of his fingers (perhaps literally).

@@GuyFromTheFarNorth My guy, it wouldn't even get to Lucifer. Charlie could kill any of the overlords with ease. The only reason she wouldn't is because she's simply too nice. And that's not even mentioning the fact that we don't know if any of them COULD hurt her.

After all, she is the daughter of a fallen angel (who was the first among angels before the appearance of Michael) and the first earthly woman (before Eve), who became the mother of demons and devils. Naturally, she is absolutely stronger than everyone who is lower than Lucifer (each one against her, or the whole crowd against her), except for himself, of course.

That's why Alastor picks a fight with Lucifer just because of his own arrogance. Or thinks he is gonna beat up Adam, and gets his ass handed to him. *The former don't feel the need to enter into a pissing contest with other Overlords, because they know better than to needlessly step on each other's toes.* Alastor absolutely felt the need to get into a pissing contest with Vox once Vox challenged his pride. Alastor and Vox are much closer in personality than fans seem to think. Vox lives for adoration(and fear), Alastor lives for fear(and adoration). Vox is just less classy about it and his more explosive anger caused him to fuck up in their encounter(same way Carmilla fucked up against Velvet). Heck, Alastor is visibly angered by Carmilla not caring what he had been up to for that reason. Oh, and Zestial also felt the need to get into a pissing contest considering he went for his own insult almost immediately(the aggressive slurping was a clear shot across the bow). *Whereas the Vs are basically looking to pick fights regardless if its smart or not and despite them needing each other to maintain their shared empire, each of them considers themselves the "backbone of the Vs.* Carmilla got completely outplayed by Velvet. The writer's notes themselves also back Velvet's statement of being the backbone up. "The glue that binds the sadistic boys together and keeps them in check." There is absolutely an element of arrogance and foolishness to the Vees, but not at all as much as people think. All the overlords who we've seen the personalities of so far are more arrogant than they are confident- which makes sense, they are in the *PRIDE* ring. Zestial is old and wise, but arrogant. Alastor likes to think he's much greater than he is and gets livid when his self-image is challenged(see Husk infuriating him, on top of the stuff I said above). Carmilla underestimates her opponents. The Vees are louder, but the others are much the same, just less obvious. I guess Rosie is the one exception to this rule.

He's implied to be below the 6 who banished him(and one of them was likely Sera, who is the Head Seraphim). The show doesn't stick entirely to standard theology. And as for Lucifer being first among angels, it depends on what apocrypha is considered. In Enoch(one of the books a lot of angel lore is actually based on), Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, Phanuel and Seraphiel(Sera's likely inspiration) are all higher than any Seraphim, and they are all ranked below Metatron(God's scribe)- with Seraphiel being Metatron's protector. Point is, nothing in the show suggests he's actually stronger than Sera. *Naturally, she is absolutely stronger than everyone who is lower than Lucifer (each one against her, or the whole crowd against her),* Adam was absolutely hammering her outside a stab he didn't expect. Alastor honestly did better until he got oneshot. Charlie has a lot more raw power than any overlord, but she's not actually a great fighter. Charlie would likely lose to any combination of two Overlords in a head on fight thanks to this. She would not beat the whole crowd of overlords, not in the slightest, even if she's stronger on paper. *except for himself, of course* Lucifer is leagues above everyone in hell, that much is true.

Ok the idea that Adam is the actual good one of the two would be hilarious scary cause now I'm imagining eve to be more like a rabid beast that ironically Adam is appeasing via killing sinners as a way of ironically protecting hell from her which would be the ultimate twist, he wants to protect hell but he has to do a dirty job to do so maybe that could explain why all exterminators are female, their all eve pick but Adam is the "face" as way of protecting hell and heaven

@@theenderdestruction2362 i had a theory that Eva actually got killed because Lucifer tempted her into eating the fruit, but this is assuming the story at episode 1 is actually a false narrative created by Lucifer, to sell a better image of him and lilith to Charlie. If my assumption is correct, then that would explain why Adam is so indifferent to sinners, he's fucking pissed at hell, and carries the exterminations as revenge.

@@OlTimeyChara ok I'm just doing this cause it's both slightly annoying me and cause someone else might be less kind about it, your typing EVA which when I read it reminds me of the robot from wall e you know EVA, the first wife of Adam (not Lilith) is called EVE not Eva but eve kinda sounds like leaf if ya say it out loud but anyways just thought I might help you there before going into your theory, whilst I do enjoy that idea I don't think that will be the case cause without eve, Adam wouldn't have created cain, able and the third son who I don't remember who in some cases created lying, also for the book thing, yeah that will hopefully be the case, I personally don't exactly derive enjoyment out of angels of heaven being actually very evil and the literal demons of hell being mostly good guys, so the idea of Lucifer the prince of lies giving Charlie a altered story would make sense, also did you know Lilith in the bible and all that actually kills babys, why? Because her own children were killed, now if I remember correctly they were snake like or something but ehhh, anyway Lilith is also the mother to all succubus and incubus's so that's a thing
