NCERT Class 7 Science, Chapter 10 - Respiration in Organism CBSE Class 7
The 10th chapter of NCERT Science, class 7, ‘Respiration in Organism’ is presented in Digital Home Tutor in 4 modules. Each module is of 8-10 minutes duration.
Module 1 discusses respiration, steps of respiration (external respiration - breathing and internal respiration- cellular respiration), and aerobic and anaerobic respiration.
Module 2 discusses external respiration, how do we breathe and the human respiratory system.
Module 3 deals with mechanism of breathing, how ribs and diaphragms make us breathe, inhalation and exhalation, and the difference between breathing and cellular respiration.
Module 4 discusses respiration in lower organisms, respiration in insects, earthworms, fish and plants, and gaseous exchange in plants through leaves, roots, stems and lenticels.
Every learner is requested to watch and listen carefully every module. It is explained in simple language (English and Hindi bi-lingual) to understand the concepts of respiration with full clarity. If you prefer to learn the chapter in simple English, select the English version of the chapter.
Important questions/exercises with solutions are given after each module to help you write precise and correct answers.
