As a Registered Nurse, this video was extremely helpful in explaining NIV and caring for my patients in the CCU. It will also help me understand and collaborate better with RTs and Providers. Thank you for great explanation in settings and mechanisms of action of both.

4 years in nursing school (Respiratory is my most hated topic) & almost 7 years working as one. Only every needed to understand NIV & Other types of ventilation since Covid because I work in the ED. Your explanation really blew my mind. Didn't know it was this easy, & now I understand I didn't need to hate the topic, I just needed it to be explained properly. I love your videos!

Started my vent class today and felt so discouraged as did the rest of my class I came home read my book and cried cause I felt like the last 9 months of studying didn’t play into this term and this video just brought my excitement back thank you for all you do coach !!

I did not find this video helpful.... I found it to be EXCEPTIONALLY HELPFUL !!! I literally saw 5 different videos about the difference between CPAP and BiPAP and I still could not understand it. Thank you once again coach Joe. All this time i've been wondering hiw my collegues are adjusting ipap and epap. All this time i thought adjusting ipap would treat oxygenation and epap for ventilation. And finally i have understood the relationship of pressure support to ipap and epap during BIPAP initiation on a patient. Thank you so much!!!

Thanks for finally getting the Bipap. Today i have the first night shift and 10th regular duty as Respiratory Therapist and these things are now practical for me as one patient i observes all time is on bipap.❤

Thank you so much! I am an experienced RN who just took a job in a progressive care unit and it has been 30 years since I studed ABGs. You made better since than my nursing instructors did. Though in all fairness -I had no frame of reference about what the patient would look like while I was sitting behind that desk. Thanks for taking the time to create this content!
