Robot head said the Andor series ‘isn’t star wars’ so here’s my reaction and response to that video. Robot head is a textbook toxic fan so I presumed this video would be full of rubbish nit picks and invalid criticism sprinkled with toxicity so I wanted to react to it…I was right

Two of my favorite games as a kid, TIE fighter and Xwing Alliance, wouldn’t be considered Star Wars to this guy. There’s only a limited presence of the force in the former, and I don’t remember any in the latter.

I can tell you why...because he probably thinks the same way as me because glorifying everything just because it says star wars is not a good kind of fandome at all! unfortunately it is exactly the opposite... where is your claim to the star wars content please.... especially as a fan you have to and can criticize if something is really bad, if a large corporation with an almost endless budget and possibilities and served another crappy bullxxit...wtf. and then it says toxic fandom...i tell you what...there is no toxic fandom it's just some thing that was invented to distract from how bad and loveless the new disney star wars content almost all is. just think about it

@@gymbro4000 i get what you say but don't you think that is the dumbest thing you can give as ananswer...that indicates that you didn't even understand the problem here. now look i love sw since i first saw "a new hope" in cinemas back in 1977 and i am building sw scalmodels and dioramas for years. so my love for sw goes beyond movies and series and i'm always excited when new star wars content is announced. and it's obvious that it's definitely better (rogue one, the mandalorin) if you put a little more effort, time and money into these projects instead of just treating it as a golden cow like disney almost always does. and then to say to someone like me, then don't look at it, on the one hand loses respect and also totally misses the point...now what you say about that

I didn’t start watching Andor until after the first 7 episodes had already been released, because I was so utterly disgusted by the Kenobi series and Boba Fett. Although I quite liked Tge Original Trilogy, The Prequel Films and Rogue One, I found The Rey Palpatine Trilogy to be an abomination. But I could have never imagined how good Andor would be before I watched it. In my opinion Andor is better than any TV series or movie released so far in the 21st century. It is truly a masterpiece.

considering the timeline, at the moment we're still a few years ahead of "a new hope" 4-5 if i get it right and considering that we're finally in a different place in the galaxy, that's only logical. at that time there were very, very few Jedi left. i also have to contradict you, it's almost like a salvation not to see some jedi voodo and lightsabers every 5 minutes... for the most part, this is because they did absolute everything wrong with 1-2 exceptions (rogue one and the mandalorian) . starting with the choice of third-class screenwriters, the horrible cast's, choosing such lousy directors, right through to signing off on such cerebral, pointless screenplays.in my opinion george lucas already watered down the saga with his prequels...then he sold what was left to the highest bidder evil corp (good job george) and so the disaster took its course. the sequell triology kicked everyone who loves star wars in the balls and what they allowed themselves to do with "the book of boba" and "obi wan" made everyone's blood run cold. tony gilroy shows us that things can be done differently and by far better. not only that the spread of the empire and the emergence of the resistance is an absolutely exciting and previously untold story line, it is also implemented in a gigantic way. top notch story telling, great character development one of the best cast's in the history of star wars, real locations, cgi only when absolutely necessary and without "the volume"...brings hope for star wars back to me...i love you tony

When you start criticising someone else's video, it's usual to actually get your first thing right, Robot Head said It starts in a Brothel, Not a BAR, you do know the difference? He then goes on to say about your kids asking mum/dad, what's a brothel?! yup, kid-friendly! NOT! Andor wasn't very good at first, the first 2 episodes were just boring, they literally put me to sleep 3 times! they were terribly edited! even episode 3 wasn't very good, I'm up to episode 8, honestly, it took until episode 7 to start getting me interested, the first 6 episodes weren't very good at all. Andor didn't promise to be more adult, It promised to be darker, but so far It's not really darker or if it is I have missed it, and it promised to be like a spy show, unfortunately so far it's failed at that! Your English (so am I), so you (like me) have missed the Americans likening it to their politics, the show writers actually said this! I think when you liken things to stuff, you would be better off likening it to something you have actually seen, your description of stranger things is laughable bad Lol. Andor's pacing is terrible! It's not just me and Robot Head that agree on this, watch most youtube vids on Andor, and even the ones that praise it, agree its pacing is too slow, they could have shown the first 8 episodes in 4 with better pacing without losing any of the story or plot, generally improving the watchability of the show, I'm sure there's probably some bright spark out there that will edit the series and produce a much more watchable show, someone did with Obi-Wan Kenobi, I have watched both, preferred the fan-edited version, still hated the show but the fan edit was better, much!

Tbh no I didn’t know the difference at first but I do now and I still feel it makes no difference, it’s not a big deal and he brought it up many times, I’m also pretty sure it was never mentioned by name that it was a brothel unless I’m mistaken. I’m gonna be honest I’ve quickly read over the rest of your comment and it’s mostly subjective so that’s an agree to disagree situation

from what we get kids and people who havnt heard of brothles just assume its a bar b/c theres a counter, booths, and achohol being served-i know this b/c i didnt know and thats what i infered and parents can just say "a bar" to there kids
