Why do we continue to be divided in the body of Christ? Why? We continue to condemn each other instead of focusing on the bigger picture. It's extremely disturbing! It's like everyone is fighting somebody in the body. Are we that bored? There's plenty of souls that need to be saved. Too many busy bodies.

Brother Marcus, I don't think everybody is just trying to be arrogant or judgemental. Most of us simply try to honestly understand the Word of God. I mean, a homosexual may say the same about those of us who try to find out what is the Word of God saying about this type of relationship. The same with divorce and remarriage. Amen, I have been standing for restoration of my marriage for over two years and God has blessed me with the knowledge of His Word on this topic. My husband wants the divorce but I will continue to stand on God's Word and I made a vow before the Lord when I married my husband. God is faithful and He knows what's best for us. I truly believe this is one of the reasons why their are so many generational curses in families because this enemy has legal access. Praise God for you and I will be praying for God to restore your marriage for His glory.

There is the new law of we should love God and others and then there is being born again and receiving the grace from God. If you are in an abusive relationship and you’ve done all you can. You need to leave and divorce. God gave us brains and a choice and obviously if the other person does not want to change, you should not be around to get abused or physically hurt. We live in the new law, although there are rules that fall into the category of being loving - so to love that obviously means to not cheat, beat up, lie, murder someone etc, we are accountable to God and him only. Only he can judge. It is clear in the bible that if we cling to him and trust, he will be with us through the highs and lows of life. Whether we go astray or not…. This Word is too hard for some people because for the most part most churches do not teach against this. I got into a huge argument with my aunt over this topic although I gave her at least 10 scriptures on it. Its like when you shine a light on a roach it scatters, lol.... it's the same thing with certain topics people pick and choose what scriptures they want to apply to their lives. As a Woman of God who has been currently standing for restoration of my marriage for over two years, I agree wholeheartedly that remarriage is adultery if the spouse is still living. Although my husband wants to divorce and has been emotionally disconnected from me....I will continue to follow God and stand on His Word and promises for me and my life and marriage. I am a strong example of not having the perfect marriage so their is truly no reason for me to emotionally or fleshly agree with this Word but when you seek you shall find and I sought the truth on this matter and God brought me to over 10 scriptures so far that confirm His Word is true. The flesh is weak but the Spirit is willing and I will continue to lay my will over to God. Praise God for revelation.

The one who is married is an adulterer as long as the spouse lives and he or she cheat, remarried, watch porn etc. The one who engaged but not married yet (did not consummate the marriage on paper or in bed like Joseph) you can divorce, break up the engagement. If that person has sex that is fornicator. Both leads to hell if they do not repent but in the marriage point of view the one was cheated by fornicator it is free from the duty of the engagement, marriage.

What therefore GOD has joined together, let NOT man (divorce judges, divorce lawyers, counselors, the state, etc....) put asunder (divide the union God has joined together) BUT... there are times when married couples just can NOT live together and function healthy in their marriage mentally, spiritually and emotionally... So, What does God's Word (NOT our own opinions, beliefs, or way of looking at things concerning God) say about this type of situation? Let's see: So let's say Jane Doe can't live with her husband John Doe. Maybe John cheats, abuses her, lies, steals, was sentenced to jail for 15 years for embezzlement, ends up with some type of personality disorder, ended up with a disability, etc... What does God say about her departing from her marriage with John under any of these circumstances? (1Corinthians7:11) and if she (Jane) depart (leaves her husband), let her REMAIN UNmarried, OR be reconciled to her husband (John): and let NOT the husband (John) PUT AWAY his wife (Jane). So we see how clear God's Word is about this issue when we put our personal feelings aside (look up Proverbs 3:5-6). Ok, so... Say Jane divorces her husband (John) and remarries another man (let's say Michael) has kids with him, buys a house, go to church together and is actually happy now? What does God's Word say about Jane now being happily married to Michael now that she has moved on from John's abuse??? Let's see, (Roman 7:3)So then IF while her (Jane's) husband liveth (is alive), she (Jane) be married to ANOTHER man (Michael), she SHALL be called an adulteress: BUT if her husband (John) be dead (deceased), she is FREE from that (marital) law; so that she is NO adulteress, THOUGH she be married to another man (Michael). So here we see... If Jane Doe divorces her husband John, and marries Michael while John LIVETH (is still alive)... God's Word says that Jane Doe SHALL (not might, could possibly, or maybe... but SHALL) be called an ADULTERESS, even though she is now happily married to Michael with kids, a new home, etc... and is legally divorced from John. Ok, but what if she repents for being in the second marriage with Michael??? Is she forgiven, and can she REMAIN married to Michael though scripture says her second marriage is considered adultery in God's sight because her first husband (John) is still alive? No, she is not forgiven quite yet... Not UNTIL she ends the second (adulterous) marriage with Michael... And go back to either remaining UNmarried, OR being reconcile back to her husband John. Jesus told the woman about to be stone who was caught in adultery, GO... And sin NO more (meaning STOP commiting Adultery). Repentance means to turn away from, which then brings us back to the state of being holy/obedient to God's Word again. So... By staying in the second (adulterous) marriage with Michael, has Jane really stopped sinning, though she asked God to forgive her for being in this second marriage while her first husband lives? Did she, Go... And sin NO more with Micheal if she still decides to remain with him (in adultery)??? Many Christians believe adultery ends a covenant marriage. It REQUIRES an actual turning AWAY from that particular sin. So technically I can "repent" of sleeping with "Mike". But if I'm over Mike's house tomorrow night still fornicating--have I truly repented? No, I have not. If someone is in an adulterous "marriage"--the only way to truly repent is to get OUT of it. And I put marriage in quotes because if it is adulterous--it isn't even a marriage in the eyes of God. Marcus would have to leave her and remain single or be joined to one of the two ex wives who are still alive. God doesn't go against and remix His own words in order to accommodate the desires of our flesh. And we go very wrong when we make the assumption that He does and then BOLDLY peddle that lie wrapped in "grace" to other believers who may not be as scripturally learned to recognize the error.

Also on 13th September I had an out of body experience/dream about his message relating to marriage and divorce, God showed me he is not happy with him and his preaching about this particular subject and he is leading many astray. He will not be entering the kingdom of God based on the revelationary dreams I've had about hi 3 revelations is confirmation enough about him.. When I come out of the wilderness I will post the dreams if God leads me too

You are correct, but we also need to understand that God's grace has limits and comes with expectations. At some point, God turns us over to our willful sinning. God's love is unconditional, the grace of salvation is not.

Thank you Rico. As I was reading down this post, I was getting discouraged with my brothers and sisters who believe in Christ. Also, reading down the page, many verses of Gods word running through my mind and heart including some that you wrote here. My hope is that other believers will see what Rico wrote, and this written here, as way to build each other up in love. Ephesians 4: 2-3 Be completely humble and gentle, be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make EVERY effort to keep the Spirit of unity through the bond of peace. Galatians 5 gives us another reminders; If you keep on biting and devouring each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other. You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace. For through the Spirit we eagerly await by faith, the righteousness for which we hope. 1 Cor 4 Therefore, judge nothing before the appointed time, wait until the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in the darkness and will expose the motives of the heart. He's trying to justify divorce and remarriage oh, and if you listen to him he don't even look like he even knows or understands what he's talkin about. He's trying to use one part of the Bible to contradict all other parts of the Bible. In order for you to get a full understanding of what God is saying about divorce and remarriage you have to make the Bible harmonized you have to put it together because there's other verses that talk deeper about what God is saying about the voice Andre marriage. He's not going in the Book of Romans you don't see him touching Hebrews and with the apostles had to say about divorce and remarriage. So are the apostles and Jesus lying? Absolutely not. The apostles didn't teach Ally their teachers pay strictly from Jesus Christ in the Apostle's didn't teach anything that would contradict the teaching of Jesus they all had the same message and they all preach the same thing you see that he just stand on that one chapter and verse in Matthew, but you don't see him going deeper into the New Testament where they explain divorce and remarriage more clearer you see how he stays away from that.
