Response to Intervention, in terms of education, is a large scale way to screen students for academic deficiencies. Response to intervention is often called RTI, (R.T.I.), for short. Many schoo l districts. across the United States, implement a Response to Intervention strategy, yet these districts do it in a variety of different ways. Here, one particular way is offered, in which RTI is broken down into three different instructional tiers, tier one, two, and three. Each consecutive tier represents a more serious level of intervention. Instructional tier one, for instance, is the basic tier, which mostly encompasses, general primary instruction. Level increases the amount of intervention and instruction for the students.
