This just made me so happy bro, i know it might not feel like much but seeing that movement inspired me. I crashed on my bike in April had Surgery in September. And I’m so frustrated, but this made me feel a lot better. Thank you 🙏🏽
I lost the use of my arm in 2004 in a motor bike accident as well. Currently still have arm :) for now I regained very little use if any as well have the grade 3 subluxation still unrepaired cant use arm so no real point in fixing. Good to see that your positive about the injury I to actually feel it was a blessing a lot of good has come out of a lot of bad and wouldn't go back in time and do anything different. I had a nerve graph surgery to correct it but was unsuccessful
Your really inspirational!! I've had bpi full avulsion too I'm from London. Surgery options aren't the best here but I'm positive and fighting. It's been 6 months I've just had my surgery last month I also broke 8 bones in my back and my shoulder scapular. I can't feel nothing from my shoulder down to fingers. I HAVE HAD BPI SINCE 2010 OF MY RIGHT ARM I AVULVED THE SAME NERVES AS WELL... I WAS WANTNG TO MAKE A VIDEO BUT MY LIFE WAS SO COMPLICATED DUE TO MY INJURY.... IM SOOOO GLAD YOU DID... I'VE HAD TENDON TRANSFER TO MY WRIST WHICH WAS A TOTAL SUCCESS... AT THE TIME OF MY BPI THERE WAS NO NFO ABOUT THIS RARE INJURY THE HOSPITAL DIDNT EVEN KNOW... Nadya Muro I got same injury I can't surgery done on rotary cuff until bpi in proves is been almost 4 months and still not perfect fingers and hand still cramp up not its a long process my nerves are stretch. . So it's a long waiting game good luck
Lorenzo, my man, I also got into a mtrcycle acident last year caused by and idiot who whizzed past me @ 100+ mph on a clear frwy, hit an old lady doing 55 at the slow lane, she spunout towards me . BPI to my R arm. Dr says its not avulsed but I cant lift the arm, no deltoids, scapula muscles,bicep just started to flex, i have sensation to d whole arm, can grip but has damage to the rad nerve cause thumb and index hurts and always swollen
due to the severity of trama 24 inch graph was taken from leg and transferred to my left arm from neck down to elbow great scare to. Id say I did not give up on therapy but accepted the injury for what is was and carry it in a sling to this day. Its been so long I cant tell you which branches were affected but have little finger movement no bicep or wrist flexation. I wanted it removed but with stem cell studies progressing I am hesitant. I could put in the freezer if removed and wait lol
Howzit Lorenzo I'm frm S.Africa and Suffered a BPI 21april 2012 on my left side cause by motorcylce accident mine is not as bad as yours i do have a bit of sublixation in my shoulder radial palsy (wrist drop) im able to grip with my hand. I had traction on c5 c6 c7 7months ago i had neuro surgery double fasicular nerve transfer to bicep and spinal accessory to suprascapular nerve tranfer after 6 to 7 months i started to flex my bicep when i activated my hand and my shoulder is more stable.
I suffered my brachial plexus injury in October 2006, over the past years I've had two surgeries for it. They've helped so much. I started w/ no movement but over time I've gained all movement from my shoulder to my forearm. I can ben it and there is function in my fingers. I can squeeze in, but not out. I'm debating whether I should have Tendon Transfer surgery or not. If anyone has, please give me some advice... Thanks
