Learn the protected region feature to make animations that are easy to retime later. This feature can save you a lot of frustration when animating lower-thirds.
Alternatively instead of typing on the duration. You can actually split a marker by pressing alt+dragging.. It drags only the half... same function as when you type duration except you have freedom to drag through on area on protected area :)
@@limblikeballoons yes it works, but, if you want to use Responsive Design Time from AE to Premiere as an .mogrt file, then you have to place the protected areas in the MAIN composition, not in the nested comps as shown here in this video, AND it cannot contain video or sound layers…just graphics, or it wont work, well it didn’t for me.
Yes ! Open the Essential Graphics panel. Select your composition in the Primary dropdown menu. Then drag and drop the propeties you want to be editable inside the panel. When you're done, Clic Export Motion Graphics template
@@Dada974_ I did in the end, it's just akward that in order to greate a MGRT you need at least a property, in my case there were none, it was just a retimeable logo with in and out animation. I solved the problem just by adding any kind of property without any function and it worked.
