I have been listening to you for 9 months. Two talented and beautiful beings, who have brought the long-awaited breath of musical freshness (unexpected) to my library with dynamic, strong, concrete..., just generally interesting-sounding instrumental and vocal combinations 🖤💀 PS. Mary, your vocal skills surprise positively with each new song. I'm looking forward to hear and scream you more 🤘🖤

The female fucking Kills its especially on her 1st verse and when she growls after 4 or 8 bars just takes it to the next level but then he offers real redemption with that sensational solo

We're jamming out cleaning the house the lyrics sum up how we feel me and my girl we are trying to prove alot of ppl wrong and shove there negative opinions up there judgmental asses. So thank you for the reply it means the world ...I'm sure your both very busy I'm gona spread the word of rest in dust... ps I think we're gina take a break from working and turn up the music even louder and GET it ON ... I wish you all the best .
Hi! Our mixing routine is quite basic. The only "trick" we use, is using very heavy compression (very fast attack and release) in M/S setting. That maybe sacrifices a bit of clarity in the mix, but helps to create a "wall of sound" kind of feeling. Although, 90% of our sound style is not created in the mix. It's a sum of instruments, recording equipment and microphones we've collected over the years 🙃
@@RestInDust wow really appreciate the reply. Will try to incorporate your "trick" at some mix. Some popular bands also use this style of mix which i really want to figure out. It sorts of holding back but sounds like a warm reverb nuance somehow. And i think it helps to separate the vocal and instruments further more using this mixing style. Yeah i understand equipments plays a big role in here as well. Also one more thing, do you think the default compressor within the DAW is enough to do your trick? Or do we need a more fancy compressor plugin to make the magic? Rock on brother! 🤟🏻
The built-in compressors give you usually A LOT of control and possibilities... But because of it you often spend too much time focusing on details and never finish the job. That's why we're using much simpler "analog style" compressors and the "set and forget" mentality. If you want to know what compressors vst we're using, in like 90% they are "Native Instruments Supercharger GT" for instruments and "JTS Gain Reduction 2" for vocals. (Also... The "warm reverb nuance" is often an side effect of deep and heavy compression, because it makes the room sound and instrument/vocal details more audible.)
@@RestInDust thank you for such valuable information. Didn't expect to have this in-depth gear conversation. Would love to play more with the compressor's settings, however at some point i still can't notice the difference between attack and release effect, it's too subtle i guess. Noted! Definitely interested for that particular compressor for instruments especially. Indeed the heavy compression did an amazing job to the mix. Might squash the whole mix, but the result is comforting to listen casually, at least for my picky taste. Will experiment more for post production. Again thank you for the generous tips! You definitely earned a sub! Let's keep creating music & long live the metal my friend! 👊🏻
We made it mostly ourselves. Body is from old schecter, neck is custom made, painting is made by us. Fun fact: it was painted using real blood because why not 🙃
Wow this production is amazing!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥 but music is even better 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥on firee 🔥 have you ever heard about sessions? you really have the talent we are looking for 🔥
