Hi guys! Today, I’d like to draw a picture of Papa Elf from #elf in memory of Bob Newhart, who sadly passed away yesterday. He was born a year before my late grandma, and it breaks my heart to hear that we all lost a great actor and comedian who did a great job of playing Buddy the Elf’s adoptive father! He’s in a better place now with James Caan and Edward Asner.
For this picture, I used a different variety of coloring supplies - including some Posca markers for the head & hat, followed by a yellow sharpie for the hat’s stripe as well as some colored pencils for shading the head’s features and the inside of the hat as well as the jacket. I hope you like it!
