Kevin's passing is devastating I've gotten to see him 3 times in the past 8 years the first time I met him I told him I was 2 years old when the Animated Series came and he said "got you early" in his regular voice but still sounded like Batman! Rest In Power Detective 🦇

I met Kevin in a video call once 2 years ago. Was only like 60 seconds. I still have the video expressing my love and obsession with batcat ship. He just laughed. I will forever cherish the fact I got to speak with such an icon. RIP Kevin Conroy 🦇

R.I.P. to Mr. Kevin Conroy... I grew up watching the Batman animated series from the early 90's, and have always strongly associated non-live action Batman with his voice... it was great to see him do a live action Bruce Wayne/Batman once during an Arrowverse crossover in the past few years.

Kevin Conroy will live on, every time I read a Batman comic. It's always his voice I hear in my head. And it'll always be... 😢💔

When i think of batman, i dont ever think of the live action actors, I always think of Kevin Conroy's portrayal. He is and always has been for me the quintessential batman. Rest in peace Kevin and thank you for enriching all of our lives.

My grandma went to high school with Mark Hamill’s sister, and is still best friends with her so I’ve always felt more connected to btas and the Arkham series, even though I’ve never met mark. When I heard the news, I couldn’t believe it. From what I’ve seen and heard Kevin was such a kind and loving person that we lost too soon. RIP Batman.

When I was a kid, I played one game demo on loop over and over again, Batman Arkham Asylum, one night my brother came home and showed me something he just bought, Batman Arkham City, and those games were such an important part of my childhood, he’ll always be the voice I hear when I read the comics, he will always be the best, he will ALWAYS be Batman to me, and may he rest in peace

Sigh. Hearing him speak, I hear Bruce. He *is* Bruce/Batman. That voice was a part of so many of our childhoods. I remember coming home from school in '92 as an 11 year old and tuning in straight away to BTAS. Commanding and yet calming and full of hope. That was his voice, and *that's* why I believe he was cast in the role. And to know that he carried that with him in life as well as his art, that's how lasting legacies are formed, and how legends are made. Fly high on wings of leather, Dark Knight. 🦇

Boba, I think that most would agree that your video expressed much of what we fellow Kevin Conroy fans are feeling at this time. It's quite a loss for the comic book world. At the same time, you also managed to remind us of the man behind the iconic voice (a special thanks to the person who generously shared their Cameo video). Thanks for the timely commentary. I'm 42 and I remember coming home from school and watching the premier of Batman the animated series and let me tell you I was like OMG this is so freaking cool everything about it was so extraordinary it's edged in my heart and mind the very best Batman animated series ever and when I hear that voice when ever I think of how batman would really sound like there just no doubt in my mind it's Kevin Conroy! Thing about animated series outside of USA (and other english speaking countries) is that original voice actors are dubbed for kids. But I am glad that I watched Batman TAS and Abtman Beyond later in my life in english with Kevin's voice. Rest in peace Kevin Conroy, you will always be Batman for us.
