Rest in Peace | Khalid Butt  

Iconic actor and filmmaker Khalid Saleem Butt, a veteran of the industry, bid farewell in Lahore on 11th January at the age of 76.
Sukhan had the honor of featuring him in our Sukhan Unplugged series, where he candidly and honestly shared his experiences and grievances from the industry. We stayed in touch with him, and it was always a pleasure hearing from him. He was kind enough to add our interview on his own RU-vid channel as well. Commencing his illustrious career in the 70s, Butt left an indelible mark in Urdu and Punjabi films, as well as television series. His latest endeavor, the currently airing "Khaie," showcased his talent as he portrayed Faysal Quraishi's father.
Throughout his career, Butt not only graced the screen but also directed a notable film, earning him the prestigious Pride of Performance award for his remarkable contributions to the arts.
Renowned for his exceptional work in PTV productions like "Jangal Pura" (1997), "Boota to Toba Tek Singh" (1999), and "Landa Bazaar" (2002), Butt's legacy resonates in the hearts of fans.
