My fav couple ♥️, Great to see this couple from 1960's being admired in 2023 too. That shows how strong their bond is.

The picture I like the most of Gomez & Morticia, shows them looking into each others eyes and the caption says, "Forget Romeo and Juliet, I want a love like Gomez and Moritcia."

Possibly the most perfect television show…

This is probably both the most beautiful and saddest things I've ever seen...I will love her forever.

I'm an Addams Family devotee, The chemistry between Carolyn Jones, and John Astin, was as REAL as the chemistry between Morticia, and Gomez. The show wouldn't have been as good, if it wasn't. She was amazingly beautiful.

The chemistry and devotion you see in their eyes when they look at each other. You can see it so very clearly and I know most shall envy it. It was like they each had one half of an entire heart. I know that this song was featured in the film Tarzan, but I don't believe that you could have found a better song to fit this reel. And just keeping it simple with the instrumental touch was pure brilliance. I couldn't maintain composure.. It was so tragically touching. My heart just broke for a man that I've never even met. To think that they were coupled in reality as well as managing to take on the public eye and raging media heads and they STILL remained bonded even closer than ever. That's truly the deepest love of all. None of these present day celebrities have this sort of genuine love. It's always brief and full of drama. I just don't care who it was that started the phrase "You and me against the world", because in my mind it will always be John and Carolyn. I hope both lives are renewed and they find each other again, time after time. Such beauty should never die. From this day on, now and forever more. You'll be here in my heart.

I cannot but help but wonder if John Astin acted this way in real life when he heard about Carolyn Jones' death

She's my favorite actress, in my favorite comedy.

According to interviews I have seen with John Astin, he and Carolyn Jones were attracted to each other. However they never mentioned this to each other when they were working on the Addams Family. Years later, when Carolyn had cancer, John had a last meeting with her and he confessed to her that he had always loved her and she told him that she felt the same way about him. John gave the eulogy at Carolyn's funeral.

Poor dear, i had cancer that came back after two years. I'm now stable but it's emotionally so hard. If she was still alive i would do so much to meet her, sadly that she died about 20 years before i was born(2006). I learned about the show 2 months ago, and by now have watched a few of the remakes and the movies, but i feel like she was the one and only for the role of morticia. She had the grace, and for me the best Morticia. I read a lot about people say she doesn't macht the original cartoons like the other actress did. Again i was far from born when those were published. Does enyone know where i can find copies of them or interviews with her, cause i can't seem to find much.

Great Video. I’m just rediscovering the Addams Family on iTunes. I used to watch it back in the late 70s early 80s, along with The Munsters, Gilligan’s Island, The Hulk and all those classic shows on at the time.
