Thanks a lot for your video which you have posted in youtube it's really useful,but the important thing in any restaurant is to control your restaurant , to stop any pilferage. second thing i doing is to check trimming of vegetables and left over . there are more steps if you did it i will assure you will have a dramatic change .

I am thinking about a new type of restaurants : eating-spots, in eating-spots, food keeps changing, chefs also rotate, this is opposed to current restaurants, thanks to this rotation of food and chefs, eating-spots are way more powerful than restaurants. along with that, there is an app, people vote for the food that will be cooked in the next days. menu is influenced by the live input of the people via an app.

Revamping our whole website they had no pictures before. That's number one.
Is a new website really what will be the difference between your restaurant staying open or closing? I would make sure the food is EPIC and then climb the tallest mountain in the city and SCREAM from the top of my lungs that people need to try your food. Metaphorically of course...but seriously... go out and do something that will bring hundreds of people into your restaurant.
It adds up... First current customers spending 10% more per visit, do that right now and only deduct your cogs from that number, then get your current customers to come 10% more often and then 10% more in sales assumes no more labor, marketing, fixed expenses etc.. just the increase in cogs. So take your sales, add 10%, then deduct your cogs from that. I do this exercise with clients ALL the time, it works.

Hey! Just stumbled upon your video and I liked it. My client is one of the biggest and best and most famous restaurants in the country. Last year they were top 20 on Tripadvisor, this year they are top 50 and they want to win their place again. Except encouraging people to write more reviews verbally (since this is almost a michellin restaurant and they do not collect emails), how would you (rather quickly 3-6 months) increase their position on Tripadvisor? Also, what kind of campaign would you launch on facebook? Thank you in advance.

no money, thats going to be hard. I have seen opportunities to take over failing restaurants by just signing a lease, but you will still need money to turn it around. Good Luck.

Hey,, I am from India..so I have a mini- restro .it's located near to two big colleges..so it's not on the main road..It takes like 3 to 4 minutes to reach to my restro...the problm which i am facing that once college gets over around 2:30, the frequency of customers decrease by huge numbers...after college ,there are hardly any customer who visit to my place. and when it comes to any holiday or for any reason college remains close..then it affects sale in a big way..so any tips and ideas by which i can increase my sale in afternoon and evening.
