Need to hear this today . Hie I’m single mum of a 5 year old and it’s super tough for me really hard . I have days I don’t even know it I’ll get food and it brings me down but hearing this I know one day I will also look back at all this and give my testimony thanks for this beautiful video and I’m glad I can see you enjoying life now and seeing your son grow to be the lovely man he is ❤️❤️
It looks like you're finally indulging him with things you only dreamed of at the time. Hats off to you, dear mama and Marcus, for showing others that no matter what the odds, you really can make dreams come true!!!
Thanks for sharing your inspiring story. You pain then to gain now, teaching him and next generation an invaluable experience of self determination and dedication.
Inspired by love. Your son encouragement gave you strength during the early and continued to this day when he joined the Navy. Congratulations to both of you .
@@makeitwithmicahmade me breakdown. Currently doing senior year and facing food insecurity every day I cry but this is exactly what I needed to here raising a boy myself! ❤ congratulations to you on your many accomplishments and your son! ❤
I just found your channel about an hour ago and have been sitting here just scrolling through your shorts. And I have two very great books sitting beside me so that’s saying something. But I came to the comments to say this has been my favorite one so far and though I’m going right back to scrolling, I don’t think there can be one that tops this one. Shout out to the sons that beyond their years just know how to make things easier for us single mom’s when it wasn’t even their place to have to do. Their hearts are just so tender. ❤
@@cherryblossom6702I was reading Beach Read by Emily Henry for the first time and I was reread Crescent City: House of Earth and Blood by Sarah J. Maas for the third time. Are you also a reader?
You hooked that boy up!!! That’s so awesome! I would do the same for my baby boy. I’m not a single mom but getting pregnant with my little angel saved my life. And your son is undoubtedly a hero!! 👏🏼
Congratulations mother. You excelled in your life and didn't make ANY excuses. You didn't give up like many others. Your son WILL love you no matter what. You were there for HIM and for Yourself. Bravo and thank you for not being more than the expected.
I love how people are actually being humans and showing respect for this woman who has proven to herself that you don’t need other peoples money you work for it I love this girl sm and I love her videos I hope you have an awesome time with your son!❣️
If he's a servicemen, thank you BOTH for your services🙏🏼🇺🇸. People forget, that the families of those who serve in our military. ALSO Serve & sacrifice, for our country. You did good mamma 🫶🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Wow. I didn’t know you are a lawyer. Congratulations! I’m nearly complete with paralegal training so I kinda can relate. I don’t have kids but I can only imagine! Ur one strong and talented lady! Xoxo❤.
Thanks so much! And congrats on your training! I have a special place in my heart for paralegals! Many of whom were much smarter than the lawyers I worked with. ❤
Let’s all appreciate the way you kept your baby son at only 19 years old and you couldn’t even give him some Oreos. You gave him the life he deserved. You’re such a great mom.❤
Aww this is so beautiful and inspiring🥺 I’m also a single mother that also got pregnant at 19 and my son wants to go to the military as well. I’m currently in nursing school and I’m so excited about doing things like this for him when he comes home. Thank you for sharing. ❤❤❤❤
Now that's a reason to do this. Celebrate and appreciate good children turning into respectable adults. Congrats Mom and hats off to the young man in service.
Omg I’m crying 😭 I’m living a very similar situation, law school with two girls(first born at 18) as a single mom in CA is extremely hard. So proud of the two of you!!! ✨
Omg I’m not crying you’re crying !!!!! I love the way you love him and see him as your whole world and reason for being who you are today. It’s also incredible as a woman to show up for the man in your life especially when it’s your son, let him see what it’s like to be loved, valued, respected and to feel like you matter. Love this video so so so so much !! Thank you!!
Wow this really made me tear up 😢 It looks like she made all of the right choices despite not being in the best circumstance. Hearing her story also sheds light on why she makes a huge effort to make everything beautiful & special for her little daughter. I definitely tip my hat to this Mama!❤
🥲🥲 Girl, you know how to be tears to the eye. Such a beautiful story. BIG hugs🙅🏽♀️🙅🏽♀️🙅🏽♀️ to you and Marcus. And Marcus, thank you for your service. 🇺🇲🍪
Im a single mom, my story mirrors yours. I always say my son and I have grown together. I feel your joy. I feel the same when he comes home after a long distance and time. His work keeps him so busy and he's far away. Gods blessings to you and him. God has blessed you both for your hard work and sacrifice. Keep golden, respect.
As someone rejected and abandoned by their family, and who served in the Navy, you keep showering him with love and be there for him. Being Navy, thats a job that some days is heart breaking, and too many days its soul crushing.
It brought tears to my eyes thinking of your journey together. So glad you were able to level up. You love for your kids is so apparent, you seem like a great Mom! Blessings to your beautiful family. 🙏🏽💖💕
I've recently begun watching your videos and have been taken back by the generosity (e.g. Leaving a snack station for delivery drivers, etc). 😮 Learning a bit about your backstory gives more context. Ppl who've gone through hardship tend to bring comfort to the lives of others. ❤❤ Good job on raising your son, getting your education, and giving to others. 🎉🎉
But she didn’t mention a family that supported her at all. Please be aware that she could have accomplished this feat on her own without the help of family.
Hi! If you don’t mind sharing how did you create this life? Was it law school, your RU-vid channel or another source of income? I don’t mean to pry but I also aspire to be financially independent like this
