Hi Tamara. Another idea for the garlic...mince it in your chopper, portion it out with a scoop and freeze like you do the cookies then bag them up and store in your freezer. Then you have minced garlic pucks ready to throw in your recipes. Becky from Acre Homestead does that also and it always seemed like a good idea to me.
I love the from scratch videos. I have been cooking that way most of my life. I started a channel myself showing some of my recipes along with gardening and seed starting. We grow most of our vegetables and preserve them along with seasonings.

Hi Tam! Asking for prayers again for the back/leg nerve pain, I’m going to be going to physical therapy soon ~ praying for relief! I love these videos & I prep regularly when the pain is not so bad but I miss cooking! 🙏❤️
The best soft peanut butter cookie recipe I have found is one that Cooking with Donna channel has...and you make it by hand no mixer needed.. they are great... thanks for sharing your videos love your channel
Hi Tamara. I love these videos! You are such an inspiration! I don’t think I could ever do it but I enjoy watching you do it.😂 I never knew that it was so easy to make brown sugar.😃 Thanks for sharing as always.🤗💕
Hello Tamara, I make the Magic Peanut Butter Cookies, you don’t have to use flour. 1 cup sugar, 1 cup peanut butter and one egg , it makes about a dozen cookies dropped by teaspoon full. You can double the recipe and add whatever you like. Bake at 350 until edges start to turn brown. My grandchildren love them. Hope you have a blessed rest of the week 🥰♥️💐
Also, if you store your pnutbutter cookies in plastic bag or container with a few slices of apple or bread they will be soft in a day or 2. Old school ways
My brother in law gave me several of those trays plus a rolling cart and heavy duty shelves from a convenience store he worked at and they sold out and were just getting rid of stuff. They are indestructible.
Your pot you cooked the sausage in brought back some memories of a wonderful foster mother I had in the 1970’s. She had a pot just like that. Same color even! I’d love to find one
My Grandma had a pot like it that I inherited but hers is pink but most of the pink is off the outside but it’s wonderful to be able to use the same pans that my Grandma used! God bless. ❤️🥰🇨🇦🙏🏻🍁
I bought a bag of peeled garlic at Sam’s to slice and dehydrate last month and it did take forever but I have no sense of smell so I didn’t smell it dehydrating. I know… hard to believe. Next time I’m chopping them like you did.
I didn't know how brown sugar was made. After watching this I texted all my friends! Like had just found out a big secret 😂That's so easy thank you very much.
I need to do that with my hamburger buns next time. Thanks for the tip. I love having the canned sausage on my shelf. Makes for a quick breakfast or supper. I've got garlic that I grew last year in my garden that I need to do this with. I'm going to have to wait until Spring so that, as you said, put the dehydrator outside.
After watching your videos I started doing my kitchen prep on trays. It has saved me so much clean up time - not only counter clean up time but also my floors because now I’m not dropping crumbs etc!
I fry my sausage ahead but I freeze it because I’m a big chicken when it comes to canning 😅 I love those baking trays for spreading out jigsaw puzzle pieces and Lego’s ! Can you dehydrate the whole garlic clove? That would be easier . Great job getting ready for the week ! Thank you 🎉
3 ingredient pb cookies always come out soft, it's just 1 cup pb 1 cup brown sugar and 1 egg mix and bake, there are many recipes on pinterest for the exact bake and temp times for this recipe as I just bake 350°f till I start to smell the pb cookies baking and I know they're done usually anyway from 12 to 17 minutes depending upon bake sheet used
You can also alter your recipes, so you add sugar and molasses for things that take a cup or more of molasses. I used to make frozen cookies then you could bake them in the toaster oven .. I would assume you could also do an air frier in the summer.. in the winter usually I am looking for any reason to use the oven to warm the house .. in the summer I am looking to use the oven the least that I can.
Hey there .. best and easiest peanut butter cookie recipe ever.. One cup of peanut butter 1 cup of sugar One egg One teaspoon of vanilla Bake 10-12 minutes
@@SouthernWifeEverydayLife bummer..I love that one but I pull them out before they are completely done and I always add chocolate chips..I like how they are more peanut butter than the traditional recipes
@@SouthernWifeEverydayLifeif it does get hard you can get a piece of clay they have them shaped like a bear 🐻 but you can use any sort and soak it for 24hrs in water and then dry it off well and pop it in with your brown sugar and it will keep your brown sugar from drying out or clumping. You can use the same piece of clay in white sugar but you don’t soak it first instead you just put the clay directly into the white sugar and it will absorb any moisture in your white sugar and keep it from clumping. It works the exact opposite for white sugar as it does for brown. White sugar you don’t want any moisture and brown sugar you need some moisture. Hope it helps. God bless. 🥰❤️🇨🇦🇨🇦🙏🏻🍁
@southernwifeeverydaylife Oh Tamara! I'm so happy you put out another video. I sent you an email. I was starting to worry about you. I'm, a worry wart, I know. 😂 But, happy to see another video, always 💜
I am Team Crunchy cookies 🍪 😊 Have you tried the original Peanut Blossom cookies (without the Hershey Kisses)? They were softer than I liked, but they didn't go to waste (but did go to waist LOL).
Hey Tamara, I love watching all your videos! Do you ever have trouble with the bottoms of you buns getting hard or crunchy while baking? Mine did and I'm wondering if maybe the just cooked a little too long or if I did something wrong or if that's normal? If you have any tips let me know!
Probably lower your oven temp. Everyone’s oven cooks differently. You have to find what temp works best for you. You can also put a baking stone underneath. it can help too.
