All this implies that someone just dumped a fully working laptop years ago, disassembled it and left it all in one area to be serendipitously found ten years later. How fortunate that the screen and memory were OK, and that the laptop wasn't simply dumped because of a fatal error, and that the video maker didn't go the whole way through this exercise only to find this out. What a stroke of good fortune!
bruh Obviously did all that himself he covered in mud and water then walked away from me and recorded the video of him “ finding it” you guys are stupid if you think this is not staged😂
I don't believe for an instant that any of the electronic components in that thing could be functional or salvageable but it's still fascinating to watch
😆😆😆 2 million views on this video. What a load of garbage. This shit can never be restored specifically the display and battery. Everything got replaced.
This is digestible. Circuit boards are usually cleaned with ultrasonic cleaners that require the board to be immersed in water and will not be harmed until it's totally dry when you power it up. However, what I can't digest is there's absolutely no corrosion in the board while it was covered with mud for 10 years.
OMG I love his masking off the Acer logo, that is bloody brilliant, I wish I could it like that and make it work :) 11:17 the fast-forward to 11:33 and I mean the result speaks for it self 22:00
First he got a crappy laptop, took it apart and painted it red. Then he makes a video how he puts it back together (good condition) and afterwards he destructs it and throws it overnight in the landfill to make the “finding it” part. That’s how it was even able to work. Just look at the end when he assembles the case... the hole he fixed with woodshavings and superglue is completely gone, not even a single scratch there.
Scenes before the shooting of video 1) designing an old laptop with muds.. 2) Making it 2 pieces 3) throwing it in a correct destination for shooting.. Next- started shooting. 1) OMG HE FINDS A LAPTOP WITH DISPLAY AND KEYBOARD IN SAME PLACES.. .... BUT I APPRECIATE HIS EFFORT TO RE-USE IT 😂😂😂😂
Heres what i thought. Buy a used laptop, dissasembles it, record while reassembling, shows that it works fine, destroyed it and dumped it, collect from the dumpster the following week, clean it. And then edit the video for the sweet sweet youtube money.
Acer has always designed their products to go directly into landfill. They knew it would end up there very soon after it was made, but why anyone would waste time trying to restore one is beyond me.
@@pankoza No. if he installed new os. it must be fresh. no apps installed default wallpaper but the heck this thing has a lots of application and stuff.
@@pankoza Probably no. is he going to do that in the middle of the restoration? the sequence was shown on the video. he changed the screen painted the laptop and then after that there's already apps installed after fix? the goal here is to prove everyone that laptop works right? why bother installing apps before showing it to us that laptop works.
Ага, помыл, почистил, и все заработало! И все напряжения были в норме? Что просто так , без проверки, все в корпус собрал, и все оказалось рабочим! Чудеса!..Вах,вах!
I highly doubt that the motherboard just worked with scrubbing from a toothbrush. All that moisture in the dirt should have corroded the soldering points and even something as light as a brush can brush off the SMDs. I also don't think that the laptop has been collecting dirt for more than 1 day, because it would be obvious if it was left out a week full of dirt, the board should be toast. Is this a clickbait video? Yes.
У меня есть ощущение что он просто покупает б/у рабочую технику, записывает что она работает, а потом просто уничтожает, а монтирует в обратном порядке
"Restoration" sorry to break it to ya, its fake, its actually the reverse, record a perfectly working laptop, disassemble, reassemble, destroy it, and throw it away.
You guys clearly not understand how this video was done. He bought the old laptop working and made the last part of the video where he shows it working. Then he made it all dirty and arranged as if he found and did the restoration. The end. The video is fake
They even come with an adapter to charge the battery as well he must have loads of them as every laptop had a different connection I know ive had to repair a few over the yrs
@@kiyamaathemedia3057 do u really think that is original laptop which now works. ofcourse he changed the motherboard, any engineer can tell u this. better buy new one.
@@kiyamaathemedia3057 dAWG, MOST IF NOT EVERYTHING GOT REPLACED INCLUDING THE SCREEN, MOTHER BOARD, AND MANY MORE. the only thing left is the metallic figure. so its best to just use this laptop for spare parts rather than restoring it
Think about how long it took to find a broken laptop WITH a screen and the base. Most likely, when he found them, he places them apart to looks like he just got them from the dump.
@@gabrielgarcia9822 if this scenario he made is true then i garantee he would have never found the other part as it would probably in the other side of the world or something
How it is possible bro. Means every component of this laptop is still working even it was in dirt and water. I think no pba is available on this earth which doesn't damage with water.
I thought it was like anything else electronic that gets wet (like cell phones people find underwater that still work) simply needed to be removed from a power supply and allowed to dry completely before putting any power back through it. How are laptops different? Not arguing just genuinely wanna know why it would ruin the laptop if there was no power?
@@MERLINnecrofan If that laptop was really abandoned for years, humidity would've ruined the components. It's not that easy as you say "if there's no power why would it get ruined". It's common sense, Tommy. It's obviously fake, considering it's a "10 year old" laptop.
@@starmember132 Lets also take notice the CPU and GPU heatsink assembly. As far as I seen there was no thermal paste added to either. IF that motherboard he showed installing the heatsink on is in fact the one working in the video its no wonder why its so slow loading programs in the video. That poor thing is probably immediately thermal throttling and will die a slow death due to maxed out thermal loads. Which is exactly what that Frankenstein's monster deserves. A slow agonizing death. Spray painting a laptop... get out of here.
14:42 WOW !! Whoever made that label must have made it out of something indestructible. I repaired one once that was simply submerged in water once & the label bubbled up & yellowed. Amazing that this one didn't have any discoloration at all. .... In case you can't tell. I'm being sarcastic. This Video is BS.
The people who claim this is fake make me laugh. They don't even know anything about computers. I have a $10,000 gaming PC. The video shows the entire restoration process. What's fake about it?
This! I was a member of the Geek Squad so I know a genuine restore vid when I see one. This is very real. People who say its fake are just jealous they dont have this much skill.
Homeboy Froggy my laptop had some spill on it never worked after that looks like he had very good luck the mother board had not even single problem or with the battery after staying short in water for years. Can’t say its fake. Its just extreme good luck.
@@asintado3985 you'd better to watch real resoration channels for that. Watching fake videos as asmr and percepting them as real is harmful for submind.
i never realized that the chip cant be broken after how many dust will cover it hahahahhaha maybe its imposible but thumb up guys u have a better way to restore the case of the laptop good luck.....
Probably films the assembly part first, then "wrecks it", finds and cleans it. At this point its useless, but he allready have the footage of turning it on and working. Just a guess
This video shows everything that should not be done when restoring a computer with electronic components, it is also impressive that the connectors are not corroded and the battery is not sulfated hehehehe
