Before he was forced to take a company mobile phone, he evaded it for 10 years, so he didn’t have to answer to any after work calls from his boss.

Well done to those old enough to get my Trigger reference! 🤣 I’m all for repairing things economically, but I think there comes a time when you replace so many individual components, that the product you’re left with is not the one you started with.. and you’ve probably spent more money along the way than replacing it. How many days have you put it in the sand? Good one: first make it dirty and then restore. In few days water and sand can ruin the whole circuit components.

У меня Нокия 1280 с 2010 года. Потерял на обочине дороги в конце ноября 2018, шел мокрый снег. Ночью подморозило до минус 5 градусов.Знакомый парень, таксист, нашел через три дня, когда снег растаял. Не ремонтировал, разобрал, промыл под краном, высушил. Чтобы запустить зарядку аккумулятора, пришлось использовать регулируемую зарядку от автомобильных аккумуляторов. В дальнейшем заряжал от обычной зарядки. И сейчас пользуюсь.
