Just as well the coin is worth nothing, especially after the amount of chemicals and abrasive materials as well as tools used. Any good numismatic will be able to tell immediately if the coin has been tampered with. Not to mention the underlying scratches caused by a wire brush !! Don't be tempted to clean your coins using any household cleaners, wire brushes, anything that will destroy the coin rather than improve it's value. If you require to give some coins a gentle rub, always and only use a non lint white cloth. Wear the correct gloves for coin handling. Non lint cloths are easy to find, on line, car parts shops, even some of these local high street shops. Don't be tempted, you'll only ruin the coins.
This guy did not bother to answer your questions but I am using brasso or any common cleaning solution after soaking in WD40 overnight. Remember to place the coin on a piece of thick cloth, or discarded jean. Yes wire brush is a must, you must also put on thin rubber gloves to prevent the dirt sticking onto your fingernails.

This makes me sad, that a Japanese imperial 1 Sen, from the 1930s so not much value, even though there's not much of a value, the history of the coin was stripped away by polishing it to a mirror shine, that is no restoration or conservation job what so ever.
