A lot of rust damage to reverse and replace. I think if you're able to work the metal yourself, you will save a lot in costs instead of having to get replacement parts. There will still be things to replace. Most car guys in the U.S. wouldn't touch something like this, but taking on a challenge is how you learn things. Please don't give up!
Good to see part 2 but are you sure you guys can fully restore the car? It's just so rusted and broken down, I'm not sure if it can't ever be restored!

I don't know if you're in Burma, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam etc but what i can tell you is that many people there can fix anything and even make lots of things out of recycled waste.
Keep going saw your other videos you are a brilliant restorer. What people disregard you bring a second or third lease of life. And many skills learnt. Wish I had the courage to do some very interesting like you. Keep up the work you have my thanks

Really speaking this car needs to be stripped and sent for acid bath rust removal, it really has a lot of rust, after an acid bath then you can see exactly what you are dealing with!
Rusted-through metal does not make a job undoable. Eager to see what you do with rusted out metal - source from junkyard, or rivet new steel sheets on, or use filler as much as possible. Good luck, good video!
This will be interesting. I'm.aleays curious as to how people build cars around the world. In Australia this car wouldn't be restored but I can understand why in other countries they would be. Good.luck fellas
Is it really worth saving that car? If it were a classic, I'd say so, but a common car that rusty, I honestly don't know whether it wouldn't be cheaper getting one in better shape and using that for a few salvageable parts. Anyway, I enjoy restorations and I wish you guys the best results you can accomplish!
If you're on a budget, the best thing to do removing rust is to strip it bare metal with paint remover and a wire brush wheel. But if you can afford Acid bath, it would be a lot faster but it will make most of the thin metal more thinner

Who is that foolish enough neglecting a Toyota Corona? Playing Car Mechanic Simulator is a great practice full car restoration. If he worked for Toyota as that option, he can fully restore that car easily, even get discounts on new Toyota car parts.
