Almost everything works tbh i tried gluing a piece of cardboard behind the broken cone to re-Inforce the cone and fill the hole and it works, Well as long as you dont mind the looks and the slight sound difference. replacing the entier driver is the best choice if thats the case.

actually the best way to repair a speaker cone (paper specific cones) is paper mache

ye also the output wires (sway wires) on subwoofer is pretty much straight, if the speaker will wing, then it gonna break the swing cable. Ye about the Amplifiers, so we have our marketplace at serbia, when i typed TPA3116 or D version The website showed it for 6-14Euros, (thats pretty low price for 50-200Watt D class Amplifier boards, i suspect those) So what do i did? I have got a blown Amplifier (Pioneer SA-7800I) and i pretty much redid the transformer, the safety coatings between the output coils was went to dust, when i touched it, it became dust, so i removed the 70volt coil, (That i failed to replace due to the transformer gap was smaller than i thinked) It has 1 purpose to drive one preamplifier, so i replaced it with a 10VA small transformer, it does its job. also the other windings was replaced too, except the 220V layer, due it was in nice condition. The amplifier winding is +25V AC and -25AC so i getting +35VDC and -35VDC. So instaed of buying amplifier, i built on Perfboard (65x200mm dimensions) a Quasi Complementary AB Class Amplifier, it can do 40-45Watts on 8ohm load 5THD and under/1%Thd the amplifier can do about 25Watt, the amplifier sounds pretty much nice. Forgot the mention that its stereo, so i did 2 amplifier on one board. The only problem with the amplifier is the high side output draws more voltage than the low side. But it was 55Euro to get all components, and make one, instaed of those chinese class D amps that costs almost nothing. (about that i mentioned.)
