to me it's overhaul and repair for the word restoration means something having a value that is immeasurable for the beauty and delights it brings, thanks a lot
The skid plate was is pretty bad shape. Great job on getting it usable again. Hopefully it will be better maintained in the future. Great restoration! BTW, did you get some new tools?

Almost 10 out of 10... Needed new rubber mounts, should've ordered some with the engine filter etc....these old ones are not supposed to be in 2 pieces. The engine is holding on for dear life. Could have fitted a new pull start. Having said that with limited resources a very good job.
No new seals? Old bearings? Just clean and spray. Not a restoration. Btw it looks like it was covered with mud on purpose as the inside looked too clean

It is wd-40 my friend it is the best liquid that was ever invented. Look up what can you do with wd-40 and you will be using it on the daily. If you have troubles finding wd-40 look on ebay and if none I will gladly ship you a can of wd-40 let me know if you have any luck getting some my friend great day to you -nick
@@TDWO Thank you, but it is not necessary, the wd-40 is an easily available product and sold everywhere, but I did not ask you, I asked you what the white liquid you use in the red bucket is not the one that loosens the rust.
what i was wondering way hi did not see if it had spark so at lest he would know that the coil was good and did i miss not seeing a Torque wrench on the head hmmm. i like his gas can i mean container. but i do have to say nice job it even looks color full .

This is not a restoration. It’s a thorough wash, paint-strip and respray. “…and here is an example of how not to restore an internal combustion engine using a wire wheel on high tolerance surfaces and silicone as a cheap gasket. Also, hand tightening bolts on a cylinder head without a torque wrench...”
I do think he should've torqued stuff down but silicone is literally designed for making gaskets. As long as you have the proper silicone it is not a problem.
