In this video I restore an old rusty die holder and return it to like new condition. Only tool I use is a Baldor buffer. I paint it with some Rust-Oleum primer and gloss black paint. Thanks for watching.
I wouldn't use granite surface plate as a work surface. These are made for getting tight tolerances in machine work, and I'm guessing that having one re-surfaced to original specs would cost a lot of money, not to mention down time. The restoration was great. Thanks for the video
