@@stavrosa781 the carbs on my engines are all diecast aluminium and prone to corrosion. After thorough cleaning I etch prime it and then paint engine colour.
Very neatly done..wish you had an Albin control panel too..question: why that extra pump for sea water..am running with the engine’s main cooling system and never had the need for extra pump..
Hi Lofta. The extra pump circulates fresh water, with coolant added, through the engine and heat transfer pipes under the boat . Rust is the enemy of marine engines. My boat sits on a trailer when not in use so I consider it important to have a closed fresh water cooling system. These engines will rust away long before they wear out when salt sea water is used for cooling. I am sure the makers of the engines would agree with this too. I have three other engines completely ruined by rust build up within the block and head. They have self destructed.
