Dude that was amazing, you refused 99% of the tool, it looks amazing, and using the carbon fiber after pinning the plastic to keep structural integrity.... i watch tons of these videos and i have to say this is one of the best I've seen. Very little replaced, low cost, decent yield (makitas arent cheap). No editing cheats or faked repairs... just a really nice job and a great looking finish. 10/10 nice! im subscribing :p
плавный пуск и малые обороты выключателя отсутствуют, плохой ремонт, бесполезный, можно было просто поставить новый корпус в замен сломанного 20 долларов стоит корпус и не нужно пустым делом заниматься целый день.
First class home repair. I took one look and thought "no way"; you showed us the way. Those instant staples were a piece of conceptual genius. They allowed you to Makita win...
The engineering in a good quality power tool is brilliant, videos like this without any distractions show the restoration in all its detail. Excellent work. 👍
About 1 in 5000 can do this. This repair and restoration is not easy. This Gentleman is a true Craftsman. Very smart and experienced. You Sir are a Artisan. Awesome Job.
Love seeing these wonderful old things lovingly restored and brought back to life. The attention to detail and trying to keep it authentic is what appeals to me the most.
Yaas! My poop B&D snapped right there and I had managed to velcro it together and it was usable on small things. I was thinking of using acrylic and/or some type of fabric and rivets. @Everyone - anyone know if this would be a viable solution as well? I'm about to just melt the casing together and duct tape the sumba so I dont have to tote my hammer drill around.
Granted, ill never try this type of thing myself but that being said, this isn't really a restoration now is it? its a clean of definitly, and some parts might have been "restored". even tho youve managed to get it working again, it still looks beat up to me. ill just flag this as clickbait.
you know there's replacement parts for Makita the outer shell of that drill only cost $26 to buy not including shipping they will replace and fix your drills
Could have done a custom body like a zombie apocolypse drill black florescent green and purple splash type with blood red drops 😮drops and small spatter.
The people of Russia demand the introduction of flight missions into nuclear missiles on the territory of the United States, because of the hostile policy of your government!
Es überrascht mich einfach, wie viele Leute sich diesen FAKE ansehen! Wir haben die Gewohnheit, kritisch zu denken, völlig verloren, mit einem Wort, sie betrachten Gemüse🤮🤮🤮
Very excellent restoration. Mark my words the US is gonna be crippled if we ever go to war with China, and we will need as many people like you to make this country survive in the long run. We need to change from a consumer culture to a repair/maintanence culture.
Have no on tell you you get every pice from makita as a repair part. the repair of the broken one is only wasting lifetime and with a new chase the maschine is realy looking perfekt new!
I struggled with that, too. I think the original cap was chowdered when it was initially disassembled, and the replacement cap was loosely fitted for some of the filming, then the chuck was disassembled again. There are a lot of shots that were set up and filmed, its not surprising if a segment was filmed out of sequence, or needed to be re-filmed
This just isn't worth it. Unfortunately. I found this model Makita (not brushless) on eBay for 60€. 70€ including postage. My time is just too valuable to repair these kind of things... I hope you made some money on ads with this video...
