Wonderful job! I would’ve been tempted to leave the grill brushed silver. I got one of these for my mother. Sent the innards to my tech for service and sent the cabinet to a cabinet maker to build a custom solid black walnut case for it. I paid more for the wood and the cabinet work than I paid for the unit, but her favorite ice cream was Black Walnut and I wanted hers to be unique to her. A son’s love knows no bounds. It came out beautifully and she loved it!
@@HifiBarcelona A proper restoration means using OEM replacement parts. Restoring the unit to original factory build. You used aftermarket generic 5-way binding posts for speaker wire inputs on the unit. The veneer you used for the casing looks nothing like the factory vinyl wrap. You refurbished this unit, not restored it.
