Not old and vintage...

Somewhere on a PCB says a date code of 2015, so it's not even from the last decade. Also I don't see any mains transformer, only a capacitor dropper circuit, and that means this radio is dangerous as hell, because all the circuit become live when plugged in the ac outlet. Also, the radio circuit itself would for sure need alignment and component replacements after being exposed to muddy waters, specially affecting the tuning capacitor. And it is based on what seems to be a TA2003 which is one of the worst chips available to build a radio.

When I was a kid, a 20-year-old radio seemed really OLD; now it's like something from yesterday. But they must have done something right when they built that thing for it to work after a cleanup and speaker replacement. Good job!
