I lost track of the wiring about 2 minutes in! Ain’t no way I’d be able to do this but I would at least try. Try and fail is far better than never try at all. Great video and glad to see these again.

i bought a Sony HMK20 music centre in 1974..i still have the manual...this Aiwa looks much more powerful with higher wattage per channel...we also had a Hitachi music centre in the family...they were popular in the 70's

It is perfectly clear that they made several mistakes in the assembly, but they are clearly young, there is no plan to overwhelm them. Guys, record the repair and not the other way around.

Да, это музыка из бесплатной библиотеки ютуба. Наверное, то, что было на пластинке заблочил ютуб по авторским, вот он и подставил разрешённую музыку.

Oh my God! You bring back such old memories. We had an Aiwa AF 5090 system, very similar to this set. Those were the late seventies and eighties. Beautiful set, I still miss it.

What besides the vinyl overlay did you repair? I daw you completely dismantle it after it would not power up, then put it back together and it worked, what was repaired to make it power up?

Можно было без разборки спиртом все залить, кисточкой поюлозить, пленку еаклеять. Готово. В чем тут рестоврация? It was possible to pour alcohol over everything without disassembly, put a brush on it, glue the film. Done. What is the restoration here?
