First off we want to Thank you for all your donations.
You guys made this possible and now come along for the ride
as we fix up Bills Type R
This has been one of the coolest jobs we've done.
We packed in a lot of hours in the 3 days we spent on cleaning up this
Type R.
Bill or 86 and his Wife of 84 still daily this car, now it looks better and
is upto date on the maintenance , They can enjoy it even more

One thing I wanted to point out that I noticed right away was the the passenger seat bolster was actually pretty worn. Think about that for a second. 99% of these cars you would only see the drivers seat showing all the wear but in this car, they BOTH rode in and enjoyed this car together(A LOT). Pretty cool story all around. Thank you LHT!

I am 51 years old and I grew up in that ITR era. Watching this brought back so much memories. No Lie but I teared up after watching this video, specially how gramps hit the Vtec RPM! Great job guys!

Best car story on RU-vid. I have an Fk8 here in Australia but my dad is a Toyota guy, a lot like Bill , driving a 2006 Toyota Celica ZR with 160,000 km . He hits Vvtl-i( sorry Honda guys ) He’s just turned 84 and still takes it out once a week to keep it all ticking nicely. LHT are the best Car channel on RU-vid 👍

What a great way to end my day arriving home. Normally I watch your vids on my phone, but I knew this was meant for the big screen. Made myself a cup of coffee, and casted it to my big screen TV, and watch this while the sunset was going down. Absolute magic. Well done everyone involved.

During these times of uncertainty and unrest in the world, there are still folks like you still giving back to the community. Major props to you! I was an owner of a 1995 Honda Civic EX, 1.6 L with 454,000+ miles and just donated it to Kars for Kids last Year. I miss her.

Bill is 86 because he drives a real cool car! Well done. Feel like if I'm lucky I'll be driving my FK8 until I'm 81,then it'll be 20 years old. Got to get that old first though.
