You have the organizational skills to put all the pieces in the right place!!! Do you prefer working with solder paste? Very professional and realistic!

It is only with this model that everything needs to be laid out so carefully in order, because I will install them in the same holes on the hull as before the restoration... The paste makes the work much easier and can be used both with a soldering iron and with a butene torch. Its only disadvantage is that it is expensive and ends very quickly. Whereas the wire is infinite)))

Super work. Can you(I) also use a soldering iron to do those first links, I'm not over confident with a butane torch, and I'm thinking of redoing all the deadeye links on my Sma Trinidad build as I'm not very happy with the setup I have

Yes, you can! But a butane torch for silver soldering works better! Apparently, the brass heats up more evenly and the joint is much stronger.

Thank you very much! This is a liquid flux for soldering at low temperature for copper and brass. The link is in the description under the video.

5:27 instead of snipping each one,would a dremel cut off wheel while the wire is still on the form be faster? Gang cutting as it were.

It doesn't matter here - you don't need super precision because all these links will shorten. So, you can cut whatever is more convenient for you...

Great work, but why couldn't you have blackened the Brass all at once instead of individually. I would think that it would take less time, just my opinion.

1) After blackening, it cannot be soldered! 2) I had to adjust the size of each link individually to fit into the old holes on the hull...
