Just sealed my first custom, noticed the krylon finish smells pretty harsh. Does that lessen over time??

This came up in another comment noting why Vick always leans when he sprays shoes with the matte finisher, and it's for just that reason. The stuff smells bad and unfortunately it won't smell any better over time. Make sure you're spraying it in a well ventilated are or even outside.

It varies from shoe to shoe. Vick recommends starting with 1-hour sessions and going from there.
