My 1st yoga class I was fortunate the instructor took two blocks & formed a T to elevate my core at my shoulder blades. I frequently forget that because I also landed Sarvangasana. The saffron is the deepest red when the garment has time in die solution & time in the sun. We all benefit when we respect the recovery & resilience of our practices.
Hello yin is a specific style where the postures have different names and postures are healed for much longer (there is more to it but that’s a very brief description) whereas restorative isn’t a style it’s more of a theme like dynamic or gentle where the postures are intended to help restore energy. I hope this makes sense.
@@CharlieFollows @sunseedstarchild actually restorative IS a specific style of yoga separate from Yin. These are more yin than restorative as restorative yoga seeks to fully support the body so that there is no stress whereas Yin seeks some sort of healthy stress by way or either elongation or compression. Hope that helps clarify! As with all things they are definitely on a spectrum and often overlap :)
yes indeed i have been practicing restorative and yin yoga for the last 2 years you can feel the diffrences quite well. i can totally relax with restorative but with ying you can also relax but you feel you put a bit more muscle effort in the poses, . i find it interesting that restorative still is very unknown it has so many benefits for your body. that amazing feeling of drifting away not sleeping but you feel your energy get restored by the poses my sleep has improved a lot and restorative helps you with hromonal balance . yin is also more profitable for increasing your flexibility. i love restorative yes both are so nice but . my yoga practice like hatha and flow is nothing withour yin and restorative they supoort each other . we need yin practice and yang @ewithkatiebrown
