Used the method on my dyed wig but I only did the second part with the plastic bag in boiling water (to save my red color). And it worked! My wig feels how it felt when I first purchased it!

How do you KEEP it moist? I'll get my hair really nice and silky and then it seems by the end of the next day it's back to being dry and crunchy

Oh, finally found a Video where the auf looks like Mine when it comes to the tangled mess. I actually washed it First with Eco friendly Fabrice softener which helped a Bit to softly Part the wig for detangling... Which I'm afraid of. It wouldn't be easy

My wig badly matted and I just ended up bragging and cutting most of the knots out because finger detangling was just not doing anything. It’s was a 20inch Peruvian hair and it’s about 16/14 inches 😭😭😭😭

I also have a question, I use my wig for film shoots and would rush through brushing and basically a lot of the strands are coming out of the inside of the lace part of the wig. I've learned my lesson, but do you have any tips on how to keep more hair from coming out? Any way to seal it?

Lace is really sensitive, nothing really helps with it shedding/ no way to seal the lace. I would say brush only when you have to(no excessive brushing like you would your real hair) and always start from the ends.

like what morgan said there isn't much to do when it comes to prevent shedding. depending on the quality of the hair that's what going to determine how much shedding you get. but i do know there are sealants you can get at the beauty supply but i've personally never tried it so i can't recommend it.

I have a trendywigs wig in black, and the ends suddenly became so frizzy, hard and ugly. Its a synthetic wig tho and supposedly should get any heat, could I use this method as wll or what would you suggest?
