We finally get to take our 1929 Model A for a long ride. What fun, what a day. Come along with us. A big thank you to Paul Shinn @ModelA for all the information he shares. We made very good use of it.
Thanks. one day I would love to come out to you and bring the car. You could do your thing on it, I could learn, and we could both get some great6 footage for our channels.
Fun video! Congrats on the successful trip. The best moment was when you said 'I love this car' then repeated it. It really is a wonderful machine! 94 years old, correct? I've rewatched several of Paul's videos - I bet you could do the same to the brake adjustment videos, including his latest, then be ready to fix those brakes yourself!
Thanks for the video, it was awesome. Enjoy the fruits of your labor. I'm trying to get my son interested in my A truck, but maybe some day. You are making memories for a lifetime.
That is exactly it. My son can look back at these videos and not only remember but maybe someday he needs and answer after I am gone and he might find something in there. Thanks and Cheers
Great video - congrats! Waiting about 1.5 to 2 seconds after putting in the clutch before shifting will help avoid grinding gears - shifting slowly makes a big difference. I have a ‘31 Tudor Deluxe. Love your cricket turn signal indicator sound.
Yes there is something about these cars that can be explained, you have to drive one. Don't get me wrong I love my Porsche, or my Ferrari but for different reasons. This car is history
@@littleredhousehome I also own a Porsche 911 and a corvette grand sport but these simple cars are starting to get my attention. I love how they sound.
Yes thanks, she is running very well, so well I am almost worried. we went 84 miles and the gage did not move much, but I know the gage works, so we are running g well and lean.
Very nice video ! I'm surprised by the gas mileage you're mentioning in the beginning, I've had no problem driving 100 to 150 miles on a tank in a Model A, 40 miles would mean you're doing around 4 MPG given the fact the gas tank holds about 10 gallons. Model As should typically do anywhere from 12 to 15Mpg. Have you looked if you have any fuel leak ?
Love your car, it's a peach. I've got a '28 Phaeton and drive it wherever I want to go, except into Houston. I've been 250 miles one way. It was a long, hot day but still lots of fun. Take care and enjoy.
