Well said. You obviously you get it. Thank you!!! We are in a constant battle with the well meaning but misguided mow, blow and go guys, who only know how to hack, wack and shear, and usually at the wrong time of the year to the detriment of the plants, sadly. And now with climate change-in our area, the summers are getting longer and hotter-we're having to adapt are pruning habits and timing accordingly so as not to injure the plants by ill-timed pruning. A bit challenging, but if one understands plants and their growth habits and needs, it can be done.
