Matt you and Chris have truly gone way above and beyond anything I could have expected in the Restoration of this Lovely 36 Knuckle, Fabulous Job Fella's 😊👌
I truly love your channel I've been all over this beautiful country of ours. I'm 65 and I'm all crippled up and had to sell my beautiful iron horse 🐴 and when I watch what you guys do it brings back memories my buddies used to call me a chromeosexual cause of all the chrome I had on my girl she was so beautiful. I wish I had a trike but unfortunately a disability check won't allow that. So I'll just keep watching all you guys do you get and restore so many beautiful iron So just keep doing what you do and I'll just kick back and keep watching truly appreciate and love what you do bros so keep on keeping on. Have a blessed day.
I always buy some tickets online and then make my annual pilgrimage to the museum in June or July to buy more. This yr the wall of death was out front and I remember Dad taking me to see these when I was a kid, this museum brings back such fond memories of my childhood and the lost Americana I wish the post nafda and cold war generations could experience. I would love to win the bike but I really like the trips every yr to buy tickets lol, Matt your dad started something that you are carrying on that mean so much to so many of us
Unbelievably breathtaking beautiful bike Nobody can restore a motorcycle as good as you guys Because you put your heart and soul into it,being just a perfect from coming off the production line. When it was first made in 1936
Another absolutely beautiful build, love the color, love the bike. Another great example of the good workmanship of these war horses. Thanks for Another beautiful bike
You, Sir, have the most interesting job that I can think of. I envy you. I started my apprenticeship at Rocky's Harley-Davidson in London, Ontario, Canada in 1990. My hope was to learn to wrench Harleys and eventually gain enough knowledge to work on the older bikes and then restore them to museum status. You're living my dream. I get a lot of satisfaction from watching your videos now. I've been disabled since 2005, but your work gives me satisfaction that I cannot attain. I thank you kindly for sharing your experiences with us. Have fun! Sincerely, Morgan Taylor. Yokohama, Japan. Formerly from Onterrible, Canaduh.
Just booked our trip down to see the museum. Will be there at the end of August. Can’t wait to meet Matt and Kris and check out all of the wonderful things the museum has to show us.
Hope you have a real good time. Went there in 2022 not disappointed. These guys know their stuff about cycles. Even the other people that work there are knowledgeable
That rolodex is like the Rosetta stone of HD. People would do anything to have something similar in their respective automotive field from the early days of car manufacturing. The paint's clean, it's not faded. Priceless artifact.
I love watching ur videos, we don't see many bikes like urs here in the uk but I have to say this bike is truly biblical and who ever gets to be the proud owner will be truly blessed. Awesome job guys, just beautiful 👍👍👍👌👌👌🙏🙏🙏🙏
I understand, had the same feeling when I had my bike painted. The painter was not quite sure about it until it was all together. Was totaled by a hit and run driver, I have not fully recovered. My daughter had a framed picture put up in the garage so I can see it every day! Love the history and the enthusiasm that your father shared with everyone. It is rare to see passion nowadays. Thank you for sharing these moments!
I am a person that absolutely loves everything done as it was when it was built. Keep it up I enjoy watching these peices of history brought back to life for all of us to enjoy
Matt and Chris, you've outdone yourselves again. This is truly a sight to behold. I'm anxiously awaiting the start... Thank you for sharing this fabulous piece of history...
Matt in 1970 I worked at the Milwaukee Wisconsin assembly plant and worked in the paint shop with that guy he was old than and a real interesting guy. But I was only 20 years old and everyone was old to me 😅 God Bless America 🇺🇸 🙏
@@theone2be33let's leave the woke and choked awAy from Matt!!!! Everything he is working on or has brought "back to life" is before WOKE AND CHOKED???? and a different time when AMERICA was the BIG SWINGIN STICK ON THE SCENE!!!! PLEASE!!!! I THINK THAT WOULD BE BEST.....
@@theone2be33 this is just another example of what the HD management is out of touch with its client base. I have not been a happy customer since they closed my dealership in munster ind Calumet harley davidson was a great family owned and very customer oriented store 👍 missed by many. I hope to make it to the museum again. Matt be safe and GOD BLESS AMERICA
I wasn't so sure about that color until I seen the tanks going on and that just bring it all together very quickly such a beautiful bikeee guys thanks for showing us.
Omgoodness.😂You are my dad. The infamous trays of bolts. Oh crap I am probably older than you . When I lost my dad. I couldn't believe what I found. I have learned sooo much watching you. I was an ASE car mech. Love your videos. I used to own a Kawasaki Ninja 250 R But I had to sell it. Always wanted a Harley though but now I am disabled. The only thing I could ride is a trike but I am living on VA disability and SSDI so I can never afford it. But I can live my dreams watching you. So thank you so much. God bless you.
2011...I was at WHEELS with a group of guys from TEXAS (coming thru from going to Canada)...wish I had known who you were then. Y'all knocked this build out of the park!!!!!
I absolutely loved last year's bike. From the first moment I saw it I felt it was the perfect bike. It took me a little longer to fully realize how much you guys have topped it with this year's bike. This is a beautiful build you always put so much subtle perfection into your work that you can't see it all at one time. You have to come back and look again and again and each time you appreciate it even more. I can't wait until the raffle. And I can't wait to see next year's bike it's going to be amazing.
That is the nicest bike ever. I will be sending you money for the tickets. It a amazing. It is a real beauty. You guys did better than perfect. So nice.wow..Greg pope
With that Knuckle head engine, you could have painted the bike pink and it would still be drop dead gorgeous but, that engine combined with that special order paint and scheme I think just reset the bar. Lord, that's a beautiful bike and even more beautiful when you said that this was your "new" raffle bike!
Awesome build!! It's so cool to think you could have bought an identical '36 Harley' and picked any color scheme. I wish more guys would have bought them. It's probably my favorite bike of all time. Would be cool if Harley would make a reproduction of that identical bike so a common guy could have that bike. Dreams! 🇺🇸
I already declared myself the winner months ago. I love my bike it's so beautiful. This is definitely the most awesome bike to win. Good luck everyone.
Wonderful restauration. I really appreciate your kind of honoring the japanese people by giving your Harley Davidson a golden wing to remind to the Honda Goldwing. This is truly great of you
Eine wirklich tolle Arbeit und eine wunderschöne Maschine. Die Lakierung ist aussergewöhnlich schön. Solch ein Motorrad ist eine echte Wertanlage für die Zukunft.
I'm learning things here and I appreciate how the motorcycle is looking. It's really looking like a really special bike man. I love the golden finish it's so nice. 👌
Is it weird that watching this brings tears to my eyes? There is so much history so many memories watching this take shape, being reborn as it were, to survive another century and preserve a history that cannot be matched. Thank you for an emotional ride. At 74 years old, I can't buy tickets to win this, but seeing it come together is almost like being there. Thank you.
