Back in the days before I shot video, here is the restoration of a very very rare 1988 Suzuki RGV250 VJ21 Model J. 1988 was the first year of the RGV, and it was a Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) bike only. This one was imported to Canada.
Special thanks to :
-John B for selling me the bike and the encouragement/advice along the way
-Roy Davies from Bracebridge Machine and Mechanical for the Crank Rebuild
-Sean Hadley from the Tuning Works for many parts and truly incredible customer service
-Allan J for the usual incredible paint work.
Simply a stunning classic 2 stroke
Enjoy the slide show

That Tremclad high temp paint looks soooo much better than the VHT I've used. Adding that to my wish list for future projects. The VFR750 is getting that 100%. I gotta be careful watching your videos. That "March of the Hares" gets stuck in my head on repeat!

Yea, it does work very nicely. I guess I need to find another sound track soon. LOL

I got everything either through the Suzuki dealer (Suzuki have a very good retro parts program) or "The Tuning Works" in the UK www.thetuningworks.co.uk The Tuning Works are simply Brilliant, Honest and Extremely Helpful
