Injection moulding machines are fast at producing repetitive prints. If done in large quantities then it can be cost effective too. In this video I am restoring a hand cranked injection moulding machine. It's a bit rusty so first I make it new and then I can go ahead and replace the parts. I talk about the heating elements, the cylinder in which the material is poured and many more. Hope you love and enjoy this video.

Hello If you have time , think about Mechanising it. Instead of hand cranking , a motorized screw can be thought of. Simple autifeed setup of granules to the cylinder is one more idea. Motorizing the vice screw is another option. Auto return of the plunger after the injection by using a limit switch and a delay timer will make it a workhorse.

Nice restoration. i know the trouble of finding the parts in Indian market ;) . I have made a similar machine in past. I went for 24v dc heaters instead of Ac one(for safety) . It would be interesting to see a video on making a mold also. Keep up the good work bro..!

Very nice video, I have same machine in my workshop but it need lot more pressure for the injection plastic, so I plan to replace the higher wattage heater and nozzle assembly. I need nozzle like you shown in video, where can I get this nozzle.?

I think for best results use digital temperature controller, because usually the material burns as you control the temperature by thermostats.

Interesting. I did. I did see the digital temperature controller. But it doesn't display a temperature and the site also says the temperature sensor is not included. How can this be useful to me?

@@Kalaakaar-in as you have seen the website, we manufacture the product. This is blind temperature controller uses J - type thermocouple and has a good accuracy. You can plug the heater to it and the thermocouple at the bottom terminal. Thermocouple of various lengths are available in the local market , hence it is not supplied by us. This unit costs ₹700/- only without transportation. You can check for digital temperature controller in the market , available in plenty.

Yes it's made in India. It's from Maruti. But don't go by any brand. Any machine which looks sturdy do. Just see you machine and then buy it. Don't buy it online
