😶😶 Tremendo!!!
Out of curiosity, how much would it cost if I actually paid for a service like this? I have almost the exact same Vorda knife but the smaller paring knife, with the rubber handle cracking. I love the knife and would like to keep using it, but couldn't find out how much it would cost to get that kind of service. In fact, I don't even know if I should get a quote from my local knife sharpening service or my local woodworking service 😂. Any pointers?
Probably a service of this type could cost much more than the price of the new knife, perhaps it would be better if you were encouraged to do the modification yourself!
@@bunkerTools I have exactly the same Knife and i use a much shallow angle, arround 10 degrees on each side, total 20. It´s has a good steel I can get a really sharp edge.
To sharpen properly, at the most only 10 degree angle. Your technique had far to much angle on it. You can get an edge to it but it won’t last or perform as long. You tube Japanese stone sharpening for vid. But great handle.
I was looking at buying this knife from Ikea, now I know it is cool looking and how to upgrade the handle ! ( It is a cheap knife with a reasonable grade of steel )
taki nóż nowy w Ikea kosztuje 10 euro.
To żałosne.
The handle was sticky because most likely he never washed the handle. I recently discovered that the rubber handles of a couple of my knives were sticky until it occurred to me to wash the handles thoroughly when I wash the blade. Give it a go, it will work. ☺✌
