In this video we restore my headlights from beaten and battered, to brand new, with protective film over them. This should protect them for the rest of their time!
Going to do mine soon, there is a tool in the factory tool kit that lets you unlock the headlight via a hex socket. Once unlocked slide them forward and disconnect the wiring harness. Headlight can be worked on off the car.
