When you live and work in the Land of Lincoln, it’s a big deal when you are asked to restore President Abraham Lincoln’s receiving vault at Oak Ridge Cemetery in @Springfield, Illinois. This video shows how we worked with the Illinois DNR and Illinois Capital Development Board through frigid temperatures to solve structural and water issues with Lincoln’s first resting place. And we did this on budget and in time for the 150th anniversary of Lincoln’s death, which included a reenactment of the president’s funeral procession. Lincoln’s receiving vault and tomb attract about 1 million visitors each year.
