In this video I showed the restoration of a very old rusty hammer. I hope you like this restoration. I found the hammer on the site of the old house. It was very rusty. I decided to restore it. Removed the rust and made a new handle. This hammer is over 100 years old.

Слава Україні! Е і в мене схожий молоток, старий... Знайомі дивуються коли його бачать, досі ним користуюсь. Гарна робота. В мене порада, щоб постійно не панькатися з дротом. Виготови собі затискача, середнього розміру. І дроту єкономія, і часу. Слава Націі!

Хоть бы один человек при реставрации закалил молоток, всё просто наполируют до блеска железяку и на этом всё. Рабочие поверхности молотка сточенны а значит на бойках остался не закалённый металл, начнёшь стучать по металлу этой сыромятной он весь расплющится.
