We begin the process to restore a very important piece of history for RJ in this video. It's his Grandmothers 1957 Silvertone model 7014 Radio. Come along as he attempts to restore this vintage radio both physically and electrically. From broken plastic to broken dial cords this project has it's issues. Can we bring it back to life?

I think your grandmother would be very proud of you for restoring her radio. Love the plastic welder.

Hi RJ, looks like you are doing a fine job on Grand Mom's radio. Its funny we have some of the same equipment. I also got one of those staple plastic repair kit. While I don't have a full size SA. I did get a TinySA and NanoVNA to play with. We have the same O-Scope plus I got one of those DMM/O-Scope (Zotek 702s). I have had a dim bulb tester and auto transformer and iso transformer for a while now. Cheers and all the best to you. I'm sure your grand mom is happy you are working on her radio, I did hear you were her favorite LOL.

Thanks Rick, I have a tinysa and nanovna. If you watch enough videos you see me use them. Very handy to have. It’s a shame you don’t live close we could get together and work on stuff in the lab. RJ
