Greetings from Florida in the USA! You are my favorite bonsai teacher. Love your teaching style. It looked fast to me because I am a novice. The good news is I can rewatch anything I may have missed. I would rather too fast and interesting, than too slow and boring.
Hello Florida 😊 Thank you for visiting my channel and I’m glad you like it . But here is other video that a bit slower ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kJ8AoOefKrU.htmlsi=sNOdb-4jnEHdg_94
Hi Anne! Long videos are great, the whole appeal of your channel is showcasing your work and your experience. And although it may seem repetitive, repetition and practice are great for learning! Just give us you, and I can assure you that anyone that is not yet interested in bonsai will be in the first 40 seconds of the video!
Daniel Thank you so much for let me know what I’ve been sharing it does helps some out there .,. What I knew slowly I’ll share them all to you guys :) Cheers Anne
Thankyou for your kind words. As the guy behind the camera I am always telling Anne to relax and most importantly to be herself as she has so much knowledge to share :)
@@davidmullins6157 I don't know how you got that gig David, but you are a lucky man. That garden is like a lolly shop for bonsai peeps. Keep up the amazing work:) and thank you
@@danielfonseca5007 its quite simple. I met Anne saw the potential and told her she needs to share her knowledge and so I told her I will create a youtube channel for her. It took some convincing but she finally agreed when I turned up one day with a camera.
@@danielfonseca5007 Hello Daniel and David I can’t believe what you just Said Daniel You meant how bad luck David is have to Putup with me :) Thank you both kindly I’m so lucky to have meet a person Like him Daniel
Great video. I love your easy-going anti-dogmatic approach. As a beginner, I sometimes get scared doing anything to my pre-bonsai trees at all because of all the "don't do this" and "don't do that" advice from the experts. Your channel is very stimulating !!
Hello and welcome to my Chanel there heaps of videos already been there for a year now search what ever you need to learn if not there sent me a request or an email I’m happy to help with anything got to do with bonsais :) They are extremely simple Thank you for your supporting
Thank you for sharing your knowledge of bonsai. Would it possible if you can do a lesson how to style and care for cedar bonsais. Especially how to create pads. I just added a cedar Lebanon into my collection. The pads of the tree are very dense and I wonder should I thinning it out to allowed sunlight to reach the pads. I noticed that there are some smaller branches are dying back from the lack of light. Again, thank you. I look forward to see more videos of your bonsais.
Yeah theyre handy and nice and neat and effective. Cheap too. I got 4 sizes 4 bags with like 100 for around ten or 15 bucks and thry cover anything i use.
Hello Ann and David, thanks for another beautiful bonsai video. From cascade to Literati style you are a real bonsai artist! Greetings from the Netherlands
I have heard that the Australian Willow is a nice fast grower for the trunk size. Have you ever tried to make on into a bonsai tree? Nice repotting and pruning of this juniper. Looks cool.
Very nice video Anne, thank you. I don’t mind the longer videos, actually benefit from the repetition of your process with the trees. As far as that part of the hand, I would refer to that as the “knife edge” of one’s hand. Our Spring is here in Michigan, trees are waking up, my larch has many new cones!
@@MadamBonsai2023 Native species like Larch, Spruce, Pine, all Junipers, Oak, Elm, Thuja, Hemlock. Japanese Maples also but they require protection from deep frost in a sheltered location. Trident Maples don’t usually survive unless in a temperature controlled greenhouse.
You need not worry about boring us! Your vids are extremely informative. I've returned to the art of Bonsai at the ripe old age of 68 and am looking forward to seeing the fruits of my "labor" in 10 - 20 years! 🌳❤ I do have a question for you Ann. I have a Star Juniper in a cascade style. It has a limb that doesn't fit the cascade style. I'm thinking of turning it into a deadwood limb to add some character. I've never done this before and would like to know what I should do.
So nice of you 68 :) so happy you share 10years ahead me with ages Labor tree it mean you are in Australia then ? It can fruits easily this variety they love feeds Well Drain soils Deadwood if you go to madam bonsai check on community I post some blue cedar tree that so out of shape I turn in to lot smaller with drip wood there see if you can see some ideas or email me I can make it for you Anne@madambobsai.com
:) happy to do so Maria thank you for your supporting They are online They get light I can post yo you Let me know where you are I’ll They are cheap too
What is the tree to the right of the Juniper your are repotting? It almost looks like a Sweetgum or Maple of some sort.. @ 1:00 Also while you are misting the tree at the end I noticed the pink flowering bonsai @ 20:15...do you have Azaleas that bloom in Autumn?
Lifted my spirits this morning watching you work. I don't get bored watching you as you are so good at imparting your experience. You obviously love your work and trees. You make bonsai accessible to people like me - just a novice.

Amazing transformation Anne...I believe that "part of your hand" is known as the "heel" of your hand...Never be afraid of repeating yourself or repeating processes as it re-enforces ideas...You are anything but boring...Thanks for sharing...
