oh it def. Worked! Items needed: L-brackets, magnetic catch, scrap wood and screws, flex tape putty (or glue, my caulk gun broke). So much better! So cheap! I love it!

Thank you so much for this! My mom has been wanting me to replace all of her bifolds. This was my last attempt to find a solution other than buy new doors!! Now I’m headed to Walmart to get the magnetic hook up lol 😊

I'm trying to do the same thing! (Sorta) for an extremely awkward bathroom "door-less" dilemma! Lol Only I just need 2 panels, hinges, knobs & a lock; for the narrowest French doors ever! Lol... I swear it's the only option I think feasible for the space🤞🏼

You could definitely use a metal bracket (or a piece of wood) to instead of or with the glue for better support!

I've been told to do them on the top of the door instead of the back, but i just screwed em right in! honestly if you glue between the doors you might not even need the brackets! good luck!

Hi there! unfortunately just in this short form. i used metal brackets - i used L, but straight would have been better, magnetic door catches and flex tape putty - but any industrial glue would work!

I used an e-6000 type but really any caulk would work!

I’d rather them bend in the middle than have thay huge ass door swing out each time I wanna open it to do laundry.
