Apprenticeships are not dead they are alive and well! Believe me! I walk by several apprentices on the was to my booth as they are cleaning floors and bathrooms, emptying garbage doing everything else but learning how to tattoo. They do this for a couple of years before they even touch a machine. I'm millions of miles ahead of them thanks to this course! I would rather say I learned from Ben Fisher than a local washup. Ben you have to come visit me in the States and see my shop!!
Apprenticeships are not required anymore! The only issue some of us may have is licensing requirements in the states, where I live the health department requires 2 yrs or 2000 hours in a shop as an apprentice in order to obtain a license. Having a license is necessary to open a studio where I live. But honestly I learned 100% from the full course and it is the best way to learn at you own pace. Anyone watching this considering the course don’t wait ! Do it because it works! Thanks Tattoo method pro!
@@PropDustingI actually have a permit under an artist for 1 more year before I qualify to get my license. This artist literally saw my practice skins and gave me a chair in his shop to practice on friends and family and potential clients. All the artist has to do is sign off on my application for the license when I’m ready 2000 hrs or 2 yrs whichever comes first. A lot of the artists in my state take advantage of this and make it difficult for people wanting to get in the industry because they try to regulate who get in the industry.
This is my dream and I'm right at the start of my journey (day 5). This gives me hope I can do it and this guy's an inspiration. Thanks for posting this. 😁
Hey I can’t get anyone to explain to me why on my old coil machine I used a like 2.5-3mm stroke to get good lines after learning, now the rotary machines everyone says go 4-5mm stroke I don’t get why they are different and no one can explain it
