I noticed when a very popular sneakerhead posted early pics that the wings logo seemed small and I commented on it. I have a retail pair and it still seems small to me, but not as small as all the “early” pics.
Mine was dead on to the T.. except for my tongue in my mine is blk.. but my home is different also. And he got his from foot locker.. so that really matter? Cause umm I can’t be walking around with no fake J’s

the one things that im very concerned with the reps is the sizing. I haven't bought a rep, but i'm planning too soon and I don't want to order my exact size and run the chance of it being cut a size short. I wear a men's 12 and from most the reviews I seen, it seems as though most rep size 12 are true to size with few excepetions. So for the most part I should be good but It still concerns me knowing that with reps there are inconsistencies. And I wonder if the difference in logo sizing is due to the fact that the rep version really being a size smaller. Like, if you were to compare your rep version to a retail version size 5.5, would the logos match in size? or would it still be off? Not a big deal to me either way, just someting I'm a little curious about.
The sizing should be true to size for the most part, especially if you stick with a reputable seller. Please DM me if you need recommendations. My sizing issues may be due to them being grade school size but a handful of people who wear bigger sizes have reported sizing issues to me. I am pretty sure that the logo size should be the same for 6.5 and 5.5. I will double check and let you know. Thank you for watching 🙂
Alright. So I came across an even smaller GS size 4Y at Foot Locker. The wings logo on the 4Y is bigger than the wings logo on the 5.5Y rep. I took pictures and video too so I could compare (also, someone was in these comments saying that my retail pair from JD Sports are reps because of the insole).
@@shoelifefire Oh ok thats interesting! but people love to call anything with slighest discrepancy a rep. You could show proof that it's retail and they'll still say it's rep lol! shit is annoying. some of these people in this sneaker game swear they know everything. ok rant done 🤣
Lol. I know, right?! He came around once he realized that he missed the fact that these are GS. Retail GS did not get the special black insole that the men’s size got 😭 One time, some guy (I suspected that he is a reseller) came on my IG and broke down my Visionaire Volt AJ1, “The swoosh was too this. The crackle was too that. The wings logo… They’re reps!” No, sir! I bought them straight from Nike. I have the receipt and all. He still insisted that they are reps 🤦🏽♀️. James probably remembers this. Lol. Him and a few others with sense showed him how stupid he was. The guy ended up deleting his comments 🤣
@@shoelifefire i did in fact watch every bit of it. I hope I am wrong. But didn’t you question why your retail pair has a glued in FLAT BLUE insole? These Jordan 1 hi costing $180 do not come with that insole. Unless maybe I’m mistaken just realized this…and maybe are these the grad school pair? Which would make more sense. For those to have the blue insole.
@@davidbrito4091 Thank you for watching. I mentioned and showed that they are grade school a few times in the video. Twice at the beginning, right at 0:30 and 0:49. Unfortunately, grade school shoes often get the short end of the stick when it comes to materials, quality, upgrades and extras 😞. So I did not question the insoles at all. Plus I bought them straight from a Nike authorized retailer JD Sports (I showed the JD Sports receipt at 0:17.)
@@davidbrito4091 I came across a GS size 4Y at Foot Locker today so I checked it and it also has the thin blue insole just like my retail GS size 6.5Y. So it confirms that I did not receive a rep from JD Sports and sadly, GS did not get the upgraded insole that the men’s sizes got 😞
