2024 Contribution Limits 401K: The total employee contribution limit to all 401(k) and 403(b) plans for those under 50 is $23,000 in 2024. The catch-up contribution limit will remain at $7,500, so if you're 50+, your 401(k) employee contribution limit will be $30,500 in 2024. IRA: The IRA contribution limit is $7,000 (+$1,000 if you're 50+) in 2024. Roth Direct Contribution (Income Limit) For single filers, the phase out is from $146,000-$161,000 in 2024. For married filing jointly it's $230,000-$240,000 in 2024
