Hi Mike, nice video! Your suspicion is correct, it’s wittnerpan 100, i made a video about this film too. Wittnerpan in reality is Original Wolfen (Orwo) film called np100, it was an early version of this film!

With FOMA 100 and ORWO 125 discontinued for Super 8, et al, this is a fine successor and I look forward to your next shoot with the film. 3M Superior CR 64, ADOX/Wittner PAN 100, Kahl NP21, Wittner Agfa APX 100 Professional and the 80 ASA/ISO Kodak Plus-X Reversal Film 7265 are all the 100 ASA Super 8 films long gone, though Ferrania and Agfa/Gevaert ought to try again. Wonder if this Super 100 is ORWO, since it says it is from Germany. If it were AGFA, it should say Belgium, since that is the only film plant they have left. Thanks for another great video!

Thanks for all the info, Nicholas! I did confirm from the supplier a couple days ago that this is Wittner Pan 100. He's looking at bringing a couple more stocks to the states at some point. 🤞

Looks great. I can see I have a lot of catching up to do. My wife and I are in the process of moving up to northern CA. Once we get settled in a couple of months I should have more time to get back to some filming and equally important following your channel 🙂

As always, love the content. I just saw that Kodak is bringing out a brand new super 8 camera. It has a video view finder like video cameras but shoots super 8 film.

Another great video, Mike! I've been wondering about this film. It's been in my eBay watchlist for a while now, lol. Let me get this right, it doesn't include processing instruction and can be processed as both negative and reversal? In its original form, is it negative or reversal? Keep up the great work, my friend!

Ah, I see! Went to their website and checked it out. Looks like a decent stock; I'll give it a spin. Sidenote, I still have all of my original Super 8 Today magazines. It was nicely out together. Cheers!

Thanks so much!! I can see you answered your question, but yes, just to confirm, it is a reversal stock but can also be processed as a negative. While I'm a huge fan of projecting film, it's really hard to "share" it that way. Since I scan my own, I like negative, as there's so much more room for grading.

Hey there neighbor! I don't know of any rentals around, and unfortunately I kind of destroyed mine trying to modify it.
