Criminally underrated game series! I think it just came out at a time when GTA clones were a dime a dozen, so it got lost in the sea of mediocrity, and people didn't give it a fair chance.
@@GameplayFowl I just got lucky enough to find it as a kid. Kinda reminds me of Rebel Raiders Operation Nighthawk. Was a clone of Ace Combat really, but since i only ever rented ace combat, it was my ace combat game, and it's pretty fun.
The room's lookin' fresh, the delivery was great, and it's nice to see Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons getting all the representation! Looking forward to the next season and more Bri/Cooper antics ;)
Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons is one of my favorite series, so I had to show it a ton of love! The new season is coming together nicely. The first episode should be out soon!
I wish they would do something with the series. Remasters would be awesome. Most of them are desperately in need of quality of life updates, but the series was great!
Yeah, my Shenmue and Grandia 2 have the same problem, but those are the only two I have with cases like that, so I was able to keep them near the other Dreamcast games. I have a ton of PS1 games with those cases, so I have to spread them out over the game room more.
I lloved PS1 but there was a time i had a green n64 with Knockout Kings 2000, Resident Evil 2, Winback & Turok 2. Not the greatest console IMO but those 4 were hitters
Sadly, no! I used to work at GameStop back in the day, and I got a GameCube with component cables from there, but I idiotically traded them in! Then they got CRAZY expensive when I rebought my GC. I did see there are cheaper third-party ones now, though, so I'm probably gonna upgrade soon!
My neighbor and I would play Ecco for hours. It took us 2 years to beat that game! Ecco, General Chaos, and the 1st Jurassic Park game are my top 3 genesis titles
Gotta say, those cases all look Prestine. Not sure what you did if it's just good clean copies or you did some kind of lightning thing, but every case looks great
Thank you! It's a combination of factors. All of my original copies from back in the day were kept in near mint condition, because I was always big on keeping my stuff looking as close to new as possible. So, I also look for copies that are in good condition when I'm out game hunting. Whenever I buy a used game, I also clean them pretty thoroughly to remove any stickers, residue, or grime. That's part of the reason my collection's not bigger than it is. If I seem a game that has damage I can't easily clean or repair, I'll pass on it. Haha.
Believe me, it was not by choice! Haha. I have yet to find a TurboGrafx for an affordable price. It is definitely on the list of consoles I need to get, though!
@@GameplayFowl Tell me about it! Even PC Engine games are sky rocketing in price. Bummer, i really wanted to get my Bonk's Revenge on, but it's tough trying to justify the crazy sticker prices! There's always the Turbo GrafX Everdrive, but it just isn't the same as having the actual Cart, or Turbo Chip in this case. :P
Just to add a bit of a fun fact, console companies make the vast majority of their money off of games and accessories, hence why Xbox has now been releasing their games on PC as well for nearly 8 years or so and why Sony is starting to release their games on PC as well. Personally I applaud a console company for getting rid of exclusives as an exclusive shouldn't be what sells your console in the first point. Should be innovation and legitimate features.
For me my. Box series x is my 3rd party also for ps3 I jail break my slim I play ps2 games some pc games run bad but other s on os5 or series x for me I use my ps5 for exclusivity games and Xbox exclusive games and 3rd party
The original XBOX and 360 were the only two Microsoft consoles I felt worth owning. 360 had some good exclusives, and the OG XBox was a bit better for some multiplats back in the day. After that, there really wasn't any point in buying XBox. I've got a gaming PC. Haha.
Dude just emulate sera games ps1 ps2 ps3 do 3ds vita switch and switch has ryujinx and a 3rd emulator also dream cast emulator I emulate game cube Wii Wii U nes snes game oh you not using your pc too it’s full potential
Yeah, I totally advocate for people to just emulate these days. I was lucky enough to start collecting before retro game prices went insane! Haha. Now, I use my PC and laptop to emulate a lot of the stuff I don't have. I have several OG Xboxes, so I'm probably going to mod one of those to be a dedicated emulation machine. Currently, I have an Ouya for that, but it's not great. Haha
If I had any control over that, it never would have been in there in the first place. But, yeah, my landlord ain't about to take that thing out of there because it's too bulky for my game room. 🤣
